Can't seem to find a pic of the covers. It's due out next week. Anyone have a pic?
The Wildman cover is just a reuse of the cover to #80, don't think the variant has been shown yet.
No, that's just a place holder. There are new covers.
So wait... Issue 81 is going to be 100 pages long? Or is this something else?
This is a collection of the last few issues leading up to this
Oh, that's a good idea I guess. I'm surprised that they didn't just finished the classics TPB release of all 80 issues instead, before issue 81 is released.
I've got them now, so here's a quick pic. Wildman on the left, Guidi on the right:
Thanks for the pics!!! I LOVE Guido's variant but I am a Grimlock Fanboy so I just had to go with Wildman's classic cover.
I almost picked this up, but the cover looked like really cheap material, and the way it was stapled together was sloppy. I do like the cover art, but I think my store wanted $7 for it.
I already have the Titan trade paperbacks of these issues, and I plan on buying the IDW Classic release. Does this have anything exclusive, other than the cover, that I will miss if I don't buy it?
Nope, just a cheap reprint of #76-80. It's meant as a quick catch up for people who've been away from the franchise, rather than for the fans who already own the originals, the Titan reprints, the IDW reprints, etc.
Wow, love the Guidi cover. I have these issues multiple times (Marvel US, Marvel UK original copies, Titan edition, IDW etc) - but this looks so good...
Circuit Breaker's been edited out of this. This surprised me, since they've been allowed to reprint the character in the Classics Collections.
are these already out? i'd love to get them!
Geez, Guido's cover looks more like Wildman than Wildman's does!
This is the continuation of the old series right? I mean do I have to read the older series to understand Regeneration One or I could just read without the previous issues?
Its a quick way to make money. Some people will by this (maybe me) and the tbp when they come out. But really, its a way for others to get caught up like others have said.
Since circuit breaker can't be used for this new continuation, it makes sense. It might be confusing for new readers for a character that will not be included in the rest of the series.
How did they edit her out?
Coloured her light blue. Here, I did a quick photo of a panel, original on left, reprint on right:
What about the lines that mention her by name? What do they call her? Very strange since they use her in the TPBs...
They edited out a whole page where they mention her by name. It doesn't really affect the flow of the story, I only noticed because I've read the original issues numerous times over the years.
Separate names with a comma.
