It wasn't shown explicitly, but it didn't need to be. It was enough to see him get webbed and her raise her claw into the air.

As stupid as the scene was, the actual shooting and staging of it was quite good. You don't need to see the actual killing, you have all the information except for the actual visual of the dismemberment.

 

It couldn't possibly be anyone other than arachnid. I mean she webbed him up, raised her claw, and when it swung you heard him scream. There weren't any insecticons shown at that point so it wasn't one of them, Mech found the body in peices so it wasn't them, the Autobots would NEVER do that, and Megatron complained about not finding his body so it couldn't have been a Decepticon.

But yeah, it was Airachnig-Airachnid-Airychilli-ding-dong... It wus' twah' mean spiduh lady!

And i just noticed the writers musta hated Breakdown... or really wanted him dead. And zombified... actually just give him a series of unfortunate events in general.

 

Airachnid was a little hurt for such exercises,- while those were not needed,- and it doesn't seem that BreakDown's parts were withdrawn as trophies.
Do you say that this TF just followed her habits? And this is the style in which Airachnid kills every of her opponents.
If this was a message to the Decepticons, then it hasn't reached them.
Didn't Airachnid pay too much attention to a "primitive type". As the third reason for this attack.

The reason Airachnid tore the body apart, instead of just killing and leaving, if it was Airachnid.
I mentioned three reasons.

 

I never realized there was any doubt that it was Airachnid.

 

I'm pretty sure it was Arachnid and then MECH got their hands on what's left of Breakdown.

 

TF: Prime is anything but consistent to start, and even so, she didn't hunt Breakdown. She killed him because she needed to escape, and is a murderous villain, not for the want of a trophy.

 

Airachnid has already been hit, so if it is not for an adrenalin shot, why would she stop to tear BreakDown's body in pieces- the ammount of damage and overall dissecting work was more than it was needed to murder him.
It doesn't seem that Airachnid wanted to take a triphy part from BreakDown, so the dissection is not for this purpose.
So why would Airachnid murder Breakdown like that, if it was her work.

01. Is it just her style of destroying the preys.

02. Was it a "message" to Megatron.

03. Airachnid placed so much effort in tearing BD apart, because she rated BD pretty inferior comparing to her.
Which also might have resulted in a less- affort kill.

 

She's just a bitch, IMO.

BD was dissected in the easiest parts for it, so I think the first Airachnid's attack went to his head, then the rest of the body's parts were deattached.
Unless she needed to get the stress out, it wasn't logical for a mind- agile type to stay for bringing more damage on the body of an inferior opponent. The situation tells to save the strengths- the wound, DreadWing and so.
But if there already was an Insecticon, then it changes the outcome.

That Guy, I do prefer not to waste my time on time- wastings, but there I was just explaining my previous message.

Still- it would have been more expected to retreat, insted of deattaching the rest of the body to parts. Because if the first hit didn't went to neck, then BD was figting back for his life.
