    Hmmph...

I think its a buy. I love the idea of the robot mode, but not the weapon. Beast mode looks a bit unnatural. any way to make it look less like the other robot parts?

Don't worry, its transformation is nothing like Cybertron Snarl. It's like trying to compare Classics Optimus with Universe Inferno.

Arms Micron have beaten you to it. ;)

Dismantling the sorry state of a weapon makes the world of difference, trust me.

Which bit did you want looking less like robot parts?

Got it an hour ago. So far seems pretty neat. Unfortunate that the beast mode's front legs are prety inarticulation thanks to the way they are formed. His transformation is at least more satisfying than Ultra Magnus'.

I wanna like this figure. I really do. But something about it just doesn't sell me. Maybe when I see it in person...

First thing that strikes me about this guy, having him in hand, is the colors are much better in person than they come out online. While I wouldn’t say he looks “bad” in photos, he does tend to look a bit washed out and undefined. Not the case in person where the colors are vibrant and contrast with each other quite well.

That said, this guy is awesome. He’s a unique and new character with a new and creative design – we don’t see that very often anymore. Articulation is plentiful and useful, joints are tight, transformation is fun and different than I was expecting. He’s pretty much all good. The only bad is the sword, which has the same problem as every other mechtech weapon in this line in that it transforms for no good reason from something that looks like nothing into another thing that sort of looks like something but not quite. The sword blade is great. The thing its attached to is…a random thing with a claw. He can’t even hold it like a sword. I did find one positive though – it does lock. Hold it by the blue base, press the claw to swing the blade up, then while gripping the claw and blade together fold them back down to the position the claw was in originally and it’ll ratchet into a locked position. Granted this locked version isn’t really any more attractive or useful than the unlocked version, but…woo?

Can’t wait to get the Japanese Leo Prime version of this mold. Also can’t wait to find a suitable sword for Captain Thunderwhiskers.

I've been trying to get mine apart but the screws appear to be made of a soft metallic looking cheese. Argh...

Thundertron is cool, but I still think that Dreadwing is better than him and Ultra Magnus combined.

I'm not even really into Prime any more, but this is simply just a great toy. Preordered.

You just have to take out the 3 screws holding in the gold claw/sword piece, then stop the blade swinging with a rubber band. After that it's a case of getting it to stay on his hand (the arm-claw helps secure it).

    Piece of cake! :)

One of the screws in mine was exactly the same. Took forever (and a teeny-tiny screwdriver), but it was worth it in the end.

One of the screws on mine refuses to turn :( . Oh well I'll settle for it as a ROTF Prime style sword for now.

Finally got mine apart, but I can't come up with an arrangement of the parts that works as a regular sword. I just removed the blade part entirely and will find a hilt somewhere to attach it to. Or perhaps I'll just give him the gold Dr. Wu Prime sword when that comes out.

This guy looks awesome. Sucks he can't really wield the mech tech weapon as I thought it was one of the better looking weapons. Lion/Wolf Mode is pretty cool. Still not sure if I'm going to leave him peg legged or not but it's nice to have that option. This guy can't get state side soon enough.

Fakebuster needs to make a replica sword for this guy (or a piece that makes the hilt a peg)

Loving how the recent voyagers scale nicely with the FE voyagers.

Why are there no comparison pictures with Cybertron Cannonball? Why are there none?

Anyways....yep. I like the way this guy looks. I want him, so bad.
