    The CGI art looks really good especially the face and beard. Too bad it didn't translate well into the toy. Good bio as well. Overall he looks okay. We got Thundertron review, now we need UMagnus review and standing next to Thundertron.

    I thought Universe Cheetor was pretty damn nice in cat mode, but the bot mode suffered significantly for it. Apart from shellforming, compromises have to be made.

    I really want this guy! He's a robot pirate with a PEG-LEG which is really awesome if you ask me!

    Plus I'm a big fan of beast-formers. I really want to get him.

    I keep having to stop myself from dropping $70 for this guy on Ebay. I mean really, I've got him preordered for $30 so that would just be silly.

    I could see how, if one is a fan of beastformers (I'm not one myself), this guy would be an instant buy.

    It's not just that this guy is literally a beast, but the sculpting sets it apart too, this is a unique figure oozing personality. I don't even know much about Thundertron aside from being a space pirate who looks cranky and wants to kill stuff. Works for me.

    Wonder if Haskaromy will retool it with a new head as ancient angry ass Lio Convoy. Also, I have noticed that starting with Bulkhead, the voyagers have started to look less cheap. Less hollow parts, et al. Dreadwing had an awesome bot mode and Thundertron follows suit.

    hey OP, so tell me, do you have rumble? if so, which do you think gives more bang for the buck? i know one's a voyager and the other's a deluxe, but is thundertron worth the extra 10?

    Magnus' weapon does lock. Also it actually looks like a weapon in each mode!
