I thought some of you might like to see how my new favorite figure stacks up next to some other OP Voyagers we all know and love...

Now the mixture of movieverse and Animated is more noticable, at least in Optimus.

That pic just serves to remind me how much I love the animated Prime toy.

I don't know how anyone could NOT like this figure!!
It is STUNNING in person and even the packaging is masterclass.
The aesthetics are very detailed and pleasing to the optic sensors.
There is NO comparison with the Deluxe, not even in the same ballpark.
I was very surprised Peaugh wasn't very impressed.
If they do a Leader version I shutter at the possibilities.
Now, come on Voyager Megatron, Skyquake, Starscream,
    Breakdown and Bulkhead !!!!

Looks good, but I can't be the only person here noticing that the TFP figures look to be scaled down from what we're normally used to with Voyagers & Deluxes. Apparently these new smaller sizes aren't just exclusive to DOTM stuff afterall... which is a real shame.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is he so small!!!!!! That kind of kills the toy for me, maybe he will get an ultra class down the road.

I don't care he's scaled down a bit! He's still the best Optimus toy we've had in years alongside the other great Prime figures!:thumb

Love those clean, strong lines on TFA Optimus. Guy looks like he could take on the other two Ops at once.
The TFP Prime is super awesome too! Movie Prime feels like the weak link here.

Nice picture, but Battle Blades Prime is a little mis-transformed. The panels on his arms can slide up past his hands. Also, his chest is mis-aligned and his shoulders should sit a bit higher.

He's NOT small. He is a good voyager sized figure. He's just lanky, so next to the bulky TFA Prime he looks tiny.

Tell that to all the pictures showing him standing next to other pre-DOTM/TFP Voyager figures. Hasbro has indeed scaled things down. Quite noticeably in some (but not all) cases. And that's not even an opinion - it's a clear as day visible fact... which so far applies to both Voyager and Deluxe class figures since DOTM and apparently carried over to TFP.

Can't wait for this guy. I thought the deluxe was a great figure and this guy only improves on nearly everything the deluxe did.

Blame the economy for that. Smaller sizes to keep the cost relatively the same as what we are already used to than raise them like every other product in retail. Kudos to Has/Tak for that.

Meh, I'm sick to death of the economy this and the economy that reasons/excuses. Sometimes we, as people and/or collectors, are allowed to just be disappointed with spending more on less and having collections suddenly switch sizes, regardless of what all the background is as to why it happens. Not a debate - just a reaction.

Tell that to someone who has the figure, like I do. He may not be as big as TFA Voyager Prime, but he is a good size and, unlike HftD Voyager Prime, isn't a light, hollow POS. He has some mass behind him.
