The composer of this piece is claiming that it was picked to be in the new series.

Needless to say, with such gentle lyrics as:
"Leave your busted ass corpse on fire in a heap"
"About to treat your ass like Megan Fox"
"You're a pussy pansy boy like Shia LaBeouf"
"Here we come, you robot Mother fuckers your days are done"

It seems highly dubious.

Voice your distaste for the song and you just might receive a message with that claim from the composer.

 

I do wonder- if you honestly don't believe that this is the theme for a child's television show because of the crude language and such...Why is this in the news section? I wouldn't even entertain the thought of this being the theme for Prime.

News and rumors. If by some very far off chance it is music that is featured in the new series (and we wake up in Bizarro world) then wouldn't this be the place to put it? It's news AND rumors. Also, Machinima.com is a media web site, if it had just been a random video then I wouldn't have bothered. Just seems like a really odd claim to come from a media site.

 

It's nonsense, the show's theme was composed by Brian Tyler.

 

That is clearly something Hasbro would never use without requesting heavy edits. The swearing alone is more than enough reason to take the stance that it won't be in the show.

And maybe I missed it, but where does the composer claim it's in the next show?

That's a mediocre song without lyrics. With lyrics it's just terrible and insulting to me, as a person, that another person found that in any way entertaining, catchy, or positive in any way.

I feel like I gained nothing by listening to it.


Also the guy's obviously just being a jackass. Though I came here hoping to hear the real one which was supposedly part of the webcast I missed twice.

Which is also weird because last I checked Machinima.com was about, well, video games and Machinima.

I'll just wait for the Japanese intro in years to come.

 

You just KNOW the Japanese version of the theme music for TF rime is gonna be awesome. They have a nack for making the theme music both electronic and operatic at the same time.

 

I donno...I kinda liked it.   Not my favorite TF song ever, but it was kind of funny.

But yeah...To be as kind as I possibly can about this, I would say that one would have to be incredibly thick to honestly believe this had any official connection to TFP, much less Transformers in general.
