    First edition version?

Anyway... Wheeljack looks great! Truth be told, folks that weren't so fond of Generations Wheeljack might be able to use this one as their stand-in for a CHUG collection.

Cliff's not too bad... but seeing more pics makes me think eh... could've been better. Regardless, it's great he's got his own mold here, rather than being a Bee repaint. (Now let's see if someone doesn't troll the forums by repainting a Prime Bee as Cliff... hah)

Soundwave's alright... but I still wish they'd have made him... different. He's so skinny looking... Not saying he *had* to be G1-esque, but he's never been a small bot... and I do miss the Synth'ed voiceover. TF:p 's Soundwave is still pretty cool, and can kick ass when he needs to.

March 2012 eh... Guess it's worth the wait. Wish online stores would stock the first wave of Prime figures tho. I don't wanna find myself missing out on guys like Bulkhead. =(

Cliffjumper looks much better now! It seems they changed his legs, chest and face a little bit and he looks much less blocky now. Much more like his on-screen persona. Cliff just went from a possible buy to a must buy. :D

Nice! Not getting that Soundwave but classics Wheeljack and Cliffjumper are definetly getting replaced with these two.

Is this Cliffjumper going to be the first edition one? Which means To me he'll be the first to retail with the zombie version, and regular ( previously seen mold not this one) following?

Edit: just saw Ra88's comment cleared it up, I'll skip the first edition and wait till March

Just went on the TFwiki to try and find an official pic on the FE Cliffjumper, and found something that I'm hoping might be true.

    Terrorcon Cliffjumper (2011)
    Vehicon (2011)

Might be fake or unedited, but has there been any word if those two will end up being part of the First Edition wave?

If you look closely at Laserbeak's hind wings, you notice there is a joint where they're supposed to be flipped up to lay horizontal to the rest of it's body.

It's nice to see some display shots of these guys. Soundwave and Wheeljack are must-haves for me. Though I'm not so sure about Cliffjumper. His over-all bot-mode looks better than the First Edition mold, but the amount of back kibble on this one worries me.

I've really been on the fence about these new prime figures. But wheeljack looks awesome! Cliffjumper looks cools also. But soundwave looks sickly thin.

Soundwave has been a must get since yesterday after watching the season finale... HOLY CRAP WAS HE BADASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ehem... If they make Voyager, it WILL be mine. I'll get the deluxe to hold me over till then...

I really want most of the line, but I'm not making much money lately, and what I do make goes to Hercules... sigh...

Yes, both versions are real. You can Google Terrorcon Cliffjumper and you can see pics of him. He was revealed at SDCC a couple of months ago.

Voyager Soundwave is not even a rumor. It isn't even on the list of toys Shadow has "confirmed." Neither is Leader Prime Megatron.

This is an entirely new mold.

    XD

I knew he was real, the question I had was if they were really a part of the first edition wave, I didn't think we were getting those two until 2012.

Oh yes, my bad :lol  As far as we know, they will be part of the first revision or second wave of the First Edition toys. That's what they said their plans were at SDCC.
