Found these in a spider man figure i nabbed at 5below just for this purpose. They wedge right in to his chest and you can heat and move them to any position you want. All you have to do is trim the tab they have just a little and they fit perfect. They have this purpley-blue color to them and totally fit the aesthetic of the figure with no work whatsoever! They look like they angle down in the pic but they can move to just about anywhere with a quick heat and set with a hairdryer and some cold water. Not bad for $5

edit: i wasn't pleased with the original layout so i heated them up and repositioned and they look tons better now (last pic)

yep, it was spiderman, not doc oc. He had some stupid removeable harness with these purple arms. I would look at the name on the card but it already went out with the trash.

Ingenious! I like mods that don't require a load of prep to implement. The simpler the better as long as the results are worthwhile, as they are here. Awesome.

Definitely a cool idea, and I'm sure more people will follow suit, especially since they can essentially do what you did & cut the Spiderman figure without ruining it (like you kinda would gutting a Dr Oc)

I didn't even have to cut the spiderman, the tentacles were in the package next to him. He had a vest that you can remove that the tentacles plug in to.

If anyone is still interested in which figure was discussed here, I've determined it's Mega Arms Spiderman from the Spiderman 2010 series. Amazon has it for under eleven bucks.

    Amazing.
    Great minds think alike sometimes.
I had the same idea, but those figures vanished as soon as I decided I wanted to do it, so I never got around to it, cause I had a hard time tracking one down.
Now I MUST find one online. LOL.
Thanks for driving me into a pit of ravenous ambition to get this done. HAHAHAHHA!!!
