Got this figure yesterday at a local Target (thankfully they haven't raised their prices yet) and he's a freaking awesome figure! I love how he looks in both modes. The transformation is fun and satisfying, although tabbing the hood into either mode is a pain in the ass and worrisome, since you have to really pull his truck grill up farther than you think you should. It doesn't quite work as Kup, but is an awesome Dipstick or a generic Autobot warrior. He's a tie with Rumble for quality, and all I'd need from this guy to make him better is a different weapon and a little more paint. I'd definitely recommend for anyone to get him!
Am not getting a Kup vibe at all. He's my new autobot foot soldier. Will do an imaginary troop build of him.
ive had this guy for awhile now and i have to say he has grown on me as one of my favorites from the line. the only thing i can say i hate about this guy is how damn tiny his alt mode is, it does not say big powerful pick up truck at all...more like a power wheels pickup truck also i had no idea his legs moved down for transformation -_- i assumed he was squat because of the concept art for IH being so.
Looks like a pretty neat mold, I like the design. Considering getting this guy, but man, I wish we got a Hasbro Ironhide. I'm not a fan of Arms Micron stickers, and the lack of his cannons. It just feels like a missed opportunity. Think of all the repaints they could have given us instead of Kup. Gears, Swerve, an all black, movie version of Ironhide... Also, am I the only one who thinks that, with a different head and combined cannons, this mold would make a pretty nice Swindle? Could someone make a digibash of this? I'm really curious to see how it would look.
If you don't have this mold by now, I'd let it go. It is below average. If you must have the character design, cyberverse did it better.
