That part is actually part of his lower arm. But yes they are.

That's the problem. This isn't a subline, it's the mainline.
    Doesn't bode well, does it?

Thats what I was thinking. This guy was growing on me til I noticed that. I've had enough figures break from clear plastic joints that their inclusion has made the decision not to buy this guy incredibly easy

    >New transformers tv show
    >Title character is Optimus Prime
    >Hasbro intends for the show to run for a long time

Yup, we'll probably only get one mainline voyager Prime, discounting the FE. I mean, movie Prime only got one mainline voyager, right? Get over yourself brotha and wait and see what new mold OPs and Megatrons the future inevitably holds, as this will NOT be the only one.

I will shit my pants with disbelief and poo if we don't see the FE Prime mould re-used.

I've had this guy for about a day and I actually like him a lot more than I thought. The blue forearms don't bother me, I barely notice the kibble (which isn't as bad as the pictures made me think). I wish the torso had a little bit more red and I would have preferred weapons like the FE Prime, although I do like the sword (you can slide it into his backpack when he isn't using it). That gun is a piece of crap. Kids might like it but it sucks for display. I've pretty much just put it aside and I might even toss it.

    Overall, 8.5/10. The gun gets a 2/10.

Good review. I cannot believe that these Optimus Primes are so different. Hasbro spent extra money to invest on a brand new mold on an Optimus Prime of a similar size, a feat that was once reserved for the Movie lines.

I'm sorry but the mainline prime toys are terrible (with the exceptions of Soundwave, Wheeljack, and Vehicon). I'm in no rush to find them.

Just wondering, has anyone tried removing the spring in his Mechtech gun? I used to be able to do that with all my deluxe Mechtech's from DOTM with no problems at all.

That just goes to show how serious they are about this line. Which means they will deffinately have more versions of these characters.

but throughout the entire run of the movies.. we only had 3 voyager prime molds. . there was only one really good one. the way i see it. we already were shown the good one.. now we have two lesser molds to deal with.

The first voyager Prime wasn't hated at all, just like the first leader mold. They were good toys (and RiD prime is too). It's just that later molds were all around better. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we get more Prime and BB molds down the line, some of which will be better. Heck, they even might re-release the FE mold in newer packages and sublines, this is Hastak we're talking about and if there's something they love, is whoring out Optimus molds.

I hope wrong because this could be a great figure - but based on first glance.................. I'd think this was a knock-off

He probably means the scaled-down version of the RotF Leader mold we got.

The only issue I have with this version is the backpack. I like how the FE backpack looks compared to this one. I'll still pick this up, as I think it looks great, but I wish something could be done with that cape-like thing on his back.

Which was an entirely new and seperate mould just using the same transformation tricks as the leader.

I don't want there to be no confusion, obviously.
