Been working on this off an on, but I'm trying to go for a screen accurate bot mode with articulation. No transformation for him... hence the "Minus T-Cog" in title.

Chest doesn't open up like in the show though, that'd require a whole new chest since his rib cage is involved in that.

    Has a ball jointed waist.

    Started working on the back.

Switched the shoulder pieces and removed the headlights that go above the windows in alt mode and threw them over the fake ones.

Shaved some plastic off from the back of the knee and at the elbow to increase articulation.

    UPDATE #1 & 2

Other things that are on my to do list is:

    Articulated hands.

    Tone down the forearms.

Find an already put together LED switch for Matrix chamber.

Nice work so far! Can we get a pick of the ball-joint waist?

    Thanks for the comments!

Heres a pic of that ball joint I'm using. Its from one of those Lego Mega Bloks.

Also, I forgot to mention that I removed the tabs on the shoulder pieces and shaved some plastic. By doing so, the shoulders are able to move back more and also allow the windows to open up just a little bit more.

Thanks for the extra picks of the waist! I really like what you did with this, and am working on something similar, so the extra input about your own project really helps...Speaking of which, how did you get the pin out of his chest in order to make the windows open out the way they do now? It looks great!

That's a pretty cool mod. How difficult was it to open the chest and how was it done?

Are you going to shave the elbow joints at all to further increase the articulation?

If you manage to squeeze a matrix in that chest then it will be perfect!

No new updates, haven't taken the time to work on it.

Tried, nothing. Might have to be creative and make my own or just throw an LED in there and call it a day. Probably the later because of the size of the chamber.

Well, theres a pin holding the chest thats in the center. Its one of those un reachable pins where only one end is visible. Had to drill a hole on the opposite side to push it out.

That was the first thing I did. Stated in first post.

    UPDATE #3

Put some time finally into this custom. Put some time into it a month ago, but not much worthy for an update.

The back is almost done. Gonna touch up that bottom section of the smoke stacks cuz its not supposed to bend like that in the show. So I'll be doing some shaving. Lot more to do than I had planned for the upper torso.

    Enjoy the few pics:
