Cartoon Network treated it like crap on their timeslot, they probably didn't even think it deserved being submited to the awards people.

Too busy promoting BEN 10 and JOHNNY TEST.

 

Why would Cartoon Network pimp another companies IP? CN wishes they had a brand as popular and well known as TFs. So yeah it makes sense they would run it on their network to make some money off of it, but they wouldn't give it as much time and attention as their own properties they are trying to develop into brands in their own right. I'm sure this is one of the reasons Hasbro decided to start their own network.

 

I have two things to say. One, woooo! I hope Prime wins some more! And two, it's an odd day to see TFW being more mature and sensible about this news than the Allspark. It's kinda depressing to see some of my fellow Allsparkers doing that.

 

The trolling nonsense stops now. I have removed several posts that were main offenders.

It's ok to debate or have a different opinion, but don't put down others to do it.

Funny then that the only 2 Cartoon Network shows nominated for this year's Daytime Emmys are Garfield and Hot Wheels something something ... clearly, not CN's IPs.

Agreed. Phineas and Ferb is high entertainment.

All I can say to the Prime crew is...nice. Job well done. The show is and good and you should feel good.

And I don't care what anyone says about Cullen's Optimus. He's a badass, plain and simple.

Renegades should have been nominated since it has more of a continuing storyline and the animation is much easier on the eyes

Don't care for Prime at all and will not be following through with the show.

I am tired of seeing GI Joe get whored out over TF.

 

This sums it up for me too. I just can't get into it.

But I am happy for everyone involved. And though I think this is far from Cullen's best work, as an artist, he certainly is deserving of an award for his impressive oeuvre.

 

Oh come on, Cullen is Optimus as we fans know that.

Great news! Congrats to all who were nominated. Hopefully more of the voice actors will be recognized next year, because so many of them are doing a fantastic job.

And it's good to see the Hub get some positive feedback so soon after its launch. I think having a dedicated, homegrown channel to broadcast on will be a great advantage to Transformers (and all of the other properties too). If anyone's cable carrier doesn't have the Hub, now's the time to call them and request it!

 

I'm glad TF Prime is getting some recognition. This can only mean good things for the franchise. However, this show better bring it's A-game come season two, because the new Thundercats is turning out to be one Hell of a heavyweight with it's lush animation and stellar Lord of the Rings style of story telling.

 

Good thing it airs in an different day and time-slot then! Hoh! No true competition because kids don't simply go "well provided that I already watch this show, I won't watch other shows".

 

So did they win anything?

 

Daytime Emmys =/= Emmys from last night.

EDIT: The Daytime Emmys have already passed it seems, and the show did end up winning two awards, both for "Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation" to Vince Toyama and Christophe Vacher.

 

you know their is going to be haters but me personally love tf prime almost as much as g1.especially when mr.cullen talks it too sends chills down my spine.

 

While I'm happy for anything TF geting good pub, people actually watched the Emmys? I was too into my team blowing a 10 point lead when M Vick went out of the game.
