The new Packaging is cool looking, dunno about the gimmick.

I hope that is a the new Voyager Megatron.

Looks like Prime has a bayformer alt mode and Prime-style robot mode. Weird. Really hope the electronics don't ruin this line.

It's a mock up of the alt mode. Just a photoshopped pic of the DOTM voyager.

The robot mode sculpt is unique, so it's fair to say this is not a movie trilogy figure, but Transformers Prime instead.

Personally, I was more excited by the little dancing smiley they use on the boards that the link goes to.

Until there's an Airachnid toy, I shall consider myself on the fence with TFP toys.

Not sure about the weapons. The packaging looks neat. Can't wait for the full line to finally hit.

Is that Mock-up for Prime planning for a Voyager, a Leader, what? I'm confused. DX

Also, they should get to work on Airachnid and Breakdown rather than ANOTHER Prime.

I believe these are Cyberverse solicitations, one of the features of TF: Prime Cyberverse is the light up gimmick.

Not really sure what to think about that supposedly Voyager class Prime. Though it's a prototype, so I'll wait to see the final product before judging. While I'm not sure it's actually a Voyager, yet, I am confident that it isn't a Cyberverse figure. They Cyberverse figures themselves don't have a light-up gimmick, but what they do have the necessary translucent plastic to connect to something that does have a light-up gimmick (like Wheeljack's ship). This here appears to have it's own built-in light gimmick, along with a mechtech-like weapon gimmick (like we've seen Voyager Starscream have). Meaning it probably is a Voyager, but I'll wait and see.

I'm curious to see how the mask turns out. I like how Optimus' face looks in Prime, so I might get it.

It isn't, it's the Cyberverse Commander figure.

But it says "try me" packaging. Unless someone brings their Cyberverse Ark to the store, or they have tiny-ass LEDs and circuitry in there, how will that work?

You literally just need a battery and a LED. not that hard, or big. no circuitry needed.

The Bionicle Piraka have small light-up pieces in their heads that work fine, so I guess something like that could work. Also, scout sized toys have had LEDs before, the Laser Rods in G2! However, Hasbro might not be too keen on the idea of using light-up in such small toys. I think the weapons and translucent torsos are meant to interact with the Ark set, and are not really a self contained thing. We do know that some Voyagers will feature light-up however.
