This is probably my least favorite of the first edition wave. I'll probably wait for more info about the second one coming out.

Also the biggest problem with this toyline I'm probably going to have are the faces. A lot of them don't look that good.

 

That's what I'm hoping for as well but I've got a feeling that they'll be Generations price instead.

 

Excited about this! I want all versions. Maybe they'll come up with a Stealth version or better yet, a crystal one, hehe.  

BTW, the Takara version is said to have slightly different paint apps from the Hasbro one. So, at present we already have 3 versions, hehe.

just ordered the NYCC set on hasbrotoys.com I like the figure and think its a great design plus now Ill have 2 guns for the regular deluxe figure haha

 

Gonna be getting this, but not right away since I got the NYCC set. It's not like he'll be going anywhere  

 

I was just about to sell off my NYCC Bumblebee as soon as I got the exclusive...but playing with him the first time I actuall ylike this BB toy. Probably my 2nd favorite next to Battle Blades BB.

 

I love the prime toys and i love my NYC set. but one thing bothers me after having gotten it. Dont these toys have accessories? I mean..Surely bumblebee's little gun and arcee's arm blades dont really count? I suppose i'd expect a little more from a deluxe than what i got.

 

This is the first set of Prime toy figure images that don't impress me all that much. As already mentioned, the figure looks too yellow to me. If the final product ends up this way I'll probably pass. I was leaning somewhat towards skipping the single carded Bee anyway, as I have no doubt it'll get repacked in multipacks and I don't need a million more Bees.

 

Truth be told deluxes generally don't come with a lot. Wheeljack and Tracks were pretty awesome in Generations with THREE accessories, whereas guys like Wreck Gar and Kup only had one each. Bumblebee with one and Arcee with two blades isn't anything different than the standards of Deluxes I think.

That toy is so amazing. Little to no kibble and so clean.

 

I was captivated by the main picture in this article . At a quick glance.. looks like he's in midtransformation WITH alot of complexity to boot (I love complex toys) . After browsing the origin of the photos... I'm sad to find out its just him in another kickass pose.

 

I can't find anything with the search, can someone please tell me the differences between this and the main line release??

 

Furthermore, could someone explain how this two different wave things is working? When does the new mold come out in comparison to the "1st edition" and are the voyagers (ie Bulkhead...I MUST HAVE HIM) part of the "1st edition" or the original release. This is all making my head hurt!

Yup, I want this out now.

 

The new mold comes out around Spring next year. 1st edition is just exactly that, 1st edition. They're toys that are just coming out first, but a new mold of some of them are going to be made eventually (right now we know about Bumblebee, who has two blasters instead of one, Cliffjumper, who has a hammer weapon and more accurate looking bot mode, and Starscream, who's getting a voyager)

tl;dr these are the first toys but different ones of the same character will be presumably made later
