I do agree it looks better than the FE but i wonder how the comparison will be in alt mode

Looks great! I definitely will be wanting one of each variant of the Vehicons... That's about it as far as army-building TFs goes for me, though.

 

This FE vs RID thing has been such a weird back and forth thing for me. They screw up the Optimus voyager, but the Vehicon gets a better toy.

I might get him. I don't know if the TFP line is going to be little more then a impulse buy for me. If something looks interesting, I may pick it up.
Which is a shame, cause I'm way into the show.

Vehicon looks awesome. Not much less of a wow factor than the First edition.

 

I will have a FE Vehicon as a type of squad leader and 3 or 4 of these guys as a mini army under his command what you think about that idea???

 

Wow, this is really nice, I feel like this embodies the idea of the Prime decepticons much more than the FE version.

 

Ya where's the back kibble that is on the FE? I can't see how this would transform in to the car without that.

So how come this looks so good, but with Optimus there was a total drop in quality from FE and RID?

 

He's not the only one. There's Bumblebee and Cliffjumper.

 

Because it wasn't a total drop, apparently. If you check their feedback you'll see that many of those who own OP and Cliff have come to like them a lot.

Bumblebee is still crappy though (and even he has his fixes)

I wouldn't worry about that. Most mainline deluxes have been pretty easy to find the last few years, with the only exceptions being some odd final wave stuff or cancelled line stuff.

On top of that, look at the character! It is NOT going to be a toy that will fly off the shelves thanks to little kids and their mothers.

And if that isn't enough, just wait for some random revision waves or other future assortments to be announced. The toys we see and hear about before a new line is even released almost always tend to be easy to find.
