Picked out Soundwave (and Cyberverse Vehicon) on Friday. I really like Soundwave, a lot more then I was expecting to. A simple, but effective enough transformation, I actually don't have any complaints about the articulation shockingly enough, and he looks good.

Really the closest I have to a complaint is that he's short, but given how tiny the Cyberverse Vehicon is compared just to DOTM Cyberverse, I have a feeling that all of the Prime toys are going to be on the small side.

It is absolutely criminal that Soundwave was shortpacked.

Luckily I managed to snag one this morning.

Really cool figure that's up there with Wheeljack as best of the line thus far for me.

I remember thinking "how will they make him show accurate?". Well, they did! Love the arms on this guy. Only complain is the back of his legs are soft rubbery plastic and don't like to stay locked into place sometimes

Leg poseability is his only fault. This guy rocks. Great design and engineering and laserbeak chest. And he can bow with Starscream!

i just picked one up also, its awesome. but as i went to transform it, the tip of the cone that folds to the back of the leg, the plastic started to rip. i don't know if it was when i went to split the cone but im scared to fold it all the way back. the other leg is fine, i just dabbed a bit of glue to see if that helps. overall great figure.

the culprit with the black circle

*sigh* I hate it when this happens. I see a figure online, have absolutely no positive feelings towards it, have no intention of seeking one out or even thinking about it ever again, stumble across it at the store, can't resist buying it, and then end up loving it. I guess it's just proof that things can be vastly different in person than they are in photos.

That said, I wouldn't say he's among my favorites in the Prime line (FE Prime, FE Bulkhead, FE Cliffjumper and Wheeljack all appeal to me more) but he is an excellent figure. I was expecting the leg articulation to be non-existant, but it's nowhere near that bad. Maybe a little limited, but certainly more dynamic than I was expecting.

Tighten the joint up with Future floor finish or superglue and go to Hobbytown USA at the Goff Mountain Wal-Mart/Mall area near the dog track to get the paint if you want to redo the missing app.

Knee articulation is disappointing. As people mentioned, the knees only move about 60 degrees.

Also, on mine, one of his heel spurs is somewhat loose, which made posing difficult for a while. Fortunately, the figure is light enough that he doesn't put too much pressure on it.

I have mixed feelings about Laserbeak. On one hand, he looks amazing attached to Soundwave. Integrates perfectly. On the other hand... on its own it doesn't look like anything. I usually mount it as a blaster on his hand (just by folding it flat when it's mounted on the outside), or he makes a wicked claw (turn it around, fold the wings forward).

All-in-all a GREAT figure. Sliiiiiiiiiiightly disappointed since it was the only Prime non-Cyberverse figure I was definitely going to get (since FE CJ and Vehicon were cancelled. Still gonna get RiD Vehicon), but still amazing.

Hey guys, I have a loose joint on one of the arms of Soundwave. It's circular pin on the elbow. Any fixer upper types know how to tighten this?

So glad I didn't watch any video reviews on this toy, transforming it was an absolute delight. That head reveal is so much fun. Like others said, it's a real shame this is only 1 to a case, especially since I predict BB shelfwarming.

Awesome figure! Got one from a couple nice employees at Target today.

I don't mind the knee articulation at all. It's good enough.

Kind of a hard guy to photograph, given how dark he is... Well, that, and I'm in a hotel room right now... put up some pics and a few thoughts on my blog (with Jacky, too): Collecting Toys...: Transformers: Prime Wheeljack & Soundwave Review

My Target is saying that they're not going to be carrying the Revealers, so that makes it all the harder to get this figure... He's the last figure I need besides FE Prime and Bulkhead...

That seems...odd, do you have a smaller than normal target or something?
