Thank you for the review! This figure seems like one I'm going to buy purely for completionst reasons. It doesn't seem likes it's got too much going on for it.

just like knockout maybe some added detail such as paint,a 3rd party rotor/propeller and another hand for this can do her justice.and just a guess,maybe if you could cut the sides of the cockpit(the one that forms the hood kible and guessing that her arms are the front half of her altmode) and glue it on her hands/arms,glue the front piece of the cockpit into that windshield thing could maybe atleast remove her hood kible.

 

Thanks for sharing. I am totally dissapointed with this figure, but I will also buy it since I love the character. it really deserved a better figure.

 

I like Transformers Prime and I even like the non FE Prime and Bulkhead figures, but this is a complete skip for me.

 

Looking at the pics... would it REALLY have been that hard to make the cockpit split and rest on her shoulders?

 

She looks SOOOO plain. Some highlights with contrasting colors and future Reprolabels would probably make this figure so much better.

 

My dislike of the character in TFP coupled with this astonishingly awful toy means this is one Prime toy I can easily skip.

Goddammit. You know this is gonna happen.

 

Looking at these pictures, she's not quite as bad as I had originally assessed, but she is still awful. Easily the worst figure of 2012.

She has some nice molded detailing on her head and torso, but you can't really see it because there's half a helicopter handing off her back!!! And it looks like they sacrificed giving her proper arms just so she could have an OPENING COCKPIT. My God. What moron had that brilliant idea?

 

I know right, Why do we need an Opening cockpit, it not like we're getting a figure that fits in there and if they didn't have that tey could have POSSIBLY worked in a Spider mode but Hasbro fails again

 

I'm reserving judgement.

I thought Arcee looked like crap and then bought her on a whim and lo and behold she is really fun. I think I may have the same reaction to Airachnid.

 

I'm going to disagree with all of you. I think that thing looks great, mostly in vehicle mode. The only thing I don't like about her is the hands. Other than that, I'll get it. Maybe its because I like Airachnid.

 

Nice helicopter mode but the robot mode leaves much to wish..no wait, how is the expression? NEvermind. It could use a LOT of improvement.  
I mean, Arcee is a beautiful mold, Airachnid is too square and flat.   I think I will pass on this one.

 

Some repro-labels and a third party rotor/upgrade kit and she'd be great.

 

Looks like he's trying to take a dump in the cockpit.

Anyway, I'll buy it, but doubt I'll like it.
