After watching various episodes it got me thinking about how damage the transformers take in the show like when there hit with a blaster there body doesn't look like it takes damage nothing gets blown off or damaged like in dotm when a bit is hit you see some type of damage on them I know there paint is chipped but seems like when there hit they just
Move back or fall over when wheeljack hit soundwave twice he just staggered do you guys see what I mean?

Knockout looked pretty messed up after the subway incident. Soundwave face shield. Cracked.

Starscream still has that scar. Knockout is basically destroyed after the train incident. Breakdown had the eye patch for the rest of the show. They are good with showing damage

Yeah, while I think they show damage, I find the weapons severy lack impact.

also, there's this thing called grammar, use it, it's free...

I understand the OP's point. The Movie had a bunch of metal skin blown off every time someone used a weapon, but in Prime, when Megatron buzzes Bumblebee, the only problem is Raf getting Dark Energon poisoning.

Agreed. TFP does show damage, but they show it in a different way than the movieverse. In Bayformers, a missile will hit a character and you can see the explosion, the dozens of chunks of metal and numerous pieces of debris that fall off. Only the "big hits" really take their toll in TFP (Starscream's arm, Breakdown's eye, Knockout vs. train, etc.). It's a creative decision from the creators, but can be related to budget as well. Summer blockbuster budget =/= CG television show budget. Michael Bay deliberately wanted "little details like s**t getting blasted apart when they're hit", and they've got the money to do that. Knockout vs. the train in the Bayformers universe would've had 1.) an explosion, 2.) tons of bits of metal and debris flying off of Knockout and 3.) him limping away while missing an arm and his wheels falling off. TFP obviously doesn't want most laser fire to do anything (think of the cost of adding more and more scuffs everytime someone took a hit), but they're more into surface damage. Has the same effect, but is easier on the budget. (Unless they wanted to go the Reboot-route and have dozens of triangular bits of identical debris fly off. ;)  )

Comparing Hollywood Blockbuster animation to CGI show from newcomer channel is kind of unfair is it not? Not to mention that the movies do have the occasional "damage that doesn't stick". Megatron gets a huge-ass point blank shot to his chest in ROTF that sends him flying out of the building but as soon as they go to the forest to fight it disappears.

Rinse and repeat everything that everyone else is already saying, as I agree with it.

Yeah I was typing on a phone quickly my bad didn't know this was English class. I agree with the post from Tyler mirage that about sums it up for me. I guess the do show damage it is in a different way than the movie and I guess I wish when blasters hit a VEHICON the don't just fall over.
