Awesome, anyone know if the same extras are on the DVD set ?

I know the comic is not included.

Nice review. Any idea of the special features are Blu-Ray exclusive? I plan on getting the DVD version, and it would really suck if the special features were just on the Blu-Ray version...

Good review, and I'm definitely interested in getting the Blu-Ray. Just don't know if I really want/need this Ltd Ed version with a comic and DVD sized slipcase.

I'm kind of disappointed that the featurettes aren't too great (and I figured that the Season 2 preview would be kind of redundant, considering the season set's release date), but it's cool to know that every episode for the season's opening and closing mini-series have commentaries - in addition to those other enjoyable ones included.

This would be the first TV series box set I ever get on Blu-Ray - I WANT THIS NOW.

I'm interested that you thought this ~ Blu-ray.com gave this set generally favorable remarks but really slagged on the Picture Quality

Well, I don't watch Blu-Ray's that often, so I'm not comparing to other discs that have come out. More of a general commentary on what I saw. It was noticeably nice for someone who only pops in a BD every so often. And IMO, better than uncompressed 1080i HD. Richer colors, smoother movement. I'm sure a BD/HD purist would have different perspectives, which I can understand and respect.

their main issue seemed to be that there was quite a bit of banding. They still thought the show itself was great, and obviously this will be the best quality anyones ever seen it, just kind of a bummer for their to be ANYTHING wrong with the picture when it's coming direct from a digital source.

    I'm getting it regardless :D

Awesome, I just pre-ordered this! :thumb

I have an HD LED TV with all the bells and whistles, but unfortunately the HUB is not available in HD on Direct TV in my area. :(

I can't wait to finally see it in HD. :rock

Any footage of the Prime game for the Wii and DS? I may get it for my 3 year old.

Think I'm going to have to get this - it's gonna look so good in high def.

Though I've been having troubles with my player lately - apparently I need to "update" it. Is this going to be a big problem?
