Great job! I like these better than the ones for the Collector's club.

omg, these work better than the Generations Wheeljack. Also, they work incredibly well as Cybertronian versions of the Battlechargers to fill out the WfC/FoC character roster.

Hope ya don't mind, but I picked up a new Wheeljack and started the prep work ;)  gonna try and get done what you had, maybe a tad different here and there but essentially will be the same. I really do dig what you did to the mold and the overall appearance.
So wish me luck on my endeavor!

These look damn good man. Damn good.

As someone who has painted this figure myself I want to ask if you've had any paint rubbing issues where the door meets te wheel well and what you might have done to solve it. Of all the minor rubbing issues this figure is giving me this is the worst of them.

I'll third that... got the same issue on my end... I'm sorta cheating with a top coat surfacer to get around that, but the paint on that area flakes... >____<

I use super thin layers of paint. I didn't have any issues with that at all before shipping them out.

What did you use to rid off the tampo stripes? I ended up having to prime those areas and using spray paint while taping off a crap ton of areas I didn't want painted.
Ended up not looking so hot though int he end. Some parts turned out good, but others really didn't do well at all. Parts just scrapping off paint even after doing a dull clear coat.

Gonna try this again. I heard that pine sol is pretty good at removing tampo print with a light touch of steel wool. I'll try that so I don't have a heck of a lot to repaint on Runamuck. Once he's done I'll prime most of the vehicle parts for Runabout and then use a nice gloss black to finish it off.
