Y'know what this has put me in mind of?

Back in G1 where they had special promotions where the rubsign minispies and then the decoys were included free with carded figures for a limited time as a special bonus thing. That would be the PERFECT use of the Micron Arms minicons in the US.

Just as they are in Japan, unpainted and still on the sprues and with a big "Exclusive, Limited time bonus! Build Your Own Minicon Partner!" blurb on the box. That would be awesome.

-ZacWilliam, if you blindpacked the sprue on the card you could also do "Search for RARE Gold/Clear/Whatever Power-charged Minicons!" Gosh that sounds like fun. :)

If only they'd sell the targetmasters seperatly, otherwise looks like ratchet will be the only one worth getting over the US release

    oh and
BB: "Check out my shotgun!! Femms dig the giant guns"
CJ: "no it's 'chicks dig giant robots' idiot"

Those micron ports are really intrusive/ugly, glad I'm not getting any of these.

I don't think the ports look that bad. People didn't complain about them when Mini-Cons were first introduced in Armada.

    Actually they did.

And the big difference between here and now is that the toys back then were designed with the ports in mind. Here, they're even larger and completely ruin the look of the vehicles.

But seriously, Ratchet actually doesn't look too bad in that pose.

Nice to see the quality of the stickers has improved greatly

Is it just me or do some of the ports look glue on?

So Shockwave and Warpath will be in Prime?
    heheh

I seriously hate that these are Asia only exslusives. Sure, importing them is an option, but not when they're triple the price of what's on the shelves here.
I just hope at some point at least the minicons are available stateside.

It's not just the minicons, but the main figures have better colors over their Hasbro counterparts. Prime has darker red and blue, Bumblebee has darker grays but also a more vibrant yellow.

These look good, probably pass on Optimus but I might get Megatron, Skywarp and Bumblebee.

These aren't Asia exclusives. These are takara versions of the hasbro rid line. As of now there only about $7 more then the u.s. versions

Maybe $7 more at Asian retail, but importing them through the normal routes is where my estimated price came from. The deluxes are each $38 at BBTS, which is nearly 3X the US shelf price.
I consider them Asian exclusives since they aren't available in the US as part of the main line. Maybe it's symmantics, but that's how it comes off as.
