I'm sure many of you have seen this already, but I had not seen it until I stumbled across it a little while ago.

    http://www.moviemistakes.com/film1322/trivia/page2

Basically, it's approximately 30 trivia tidbits about the original TF movie. However, I'm not sure of the validity of the majority of them as they contain numerous spelling errors and such. On the other hand, a number of them are very similar to the trivia I checked them against on imdb.com, so they could very well all be true. Enjoy! :D

Tis a lie. scramble city was just a temporary patch until the movie arrived.

Never heard that before. don't believe it.

I'm quite sure this is BS.

The only "triva" I really disagee with is the one claiming that the TF Movie is NOT in the Japanese continuity.

I also never heard of the idea of having Prime die at the end of the movie, but I have seen other sources about the claims of Blaster's cassettes originally being different. Again, I don't think the cassette stroy is true as these "originals" never saw the light of day as toys, and I'm sure they would have surfaced had there been any serious intention.

I always wondered what Optimus was getting up from. I always thought it was just dramatic camera angling.

Yeah, the one I also had the most difficulty swallowing was the tale of the cassettes - makes for a good read, though.

The Optimus+Cybertron thing is pure bull. Never run across it all.

BUT, the cassette thing has been in an "original script" that's been floating around forever. I have no clue as to its authenticity, but it can be seen here.

Whomever wrote this has their information fucked up.

Orson Welles finished all the lines they had given him to record. Wally Burr confirmed this at Botcon 2004. If extra lines had to be added, then Leonard Nimoy did them.

This is TRUE. During '88, the "Optimus Prime" puppet and "Tommy" sat down and watched the movie in a 5 part series. "OH SHIT" was removed and Ultra Magnus said "Open...open!" Fuckers. I have it on VHS.

I hate this trivia. It's all wrong.

I recall in the Comic they showed Kranix trasforming.

I'm glad they left that out.
The idea of Transformers everywhere in the universe lacks imagination.

Though it may explain why Lithone was SPECIFICALY targeted.

I already knew a few. Still it's good to read this kind of trivia even if one or two are fake.

As stated, that is true. I'm sure the "Cubbie and Stinger" bit is anyway.

It's just as well since "Cubbie the Lion" sounds like a crappy Disney movie character and scorpions are apparently evil in the TF universe anyway.
