Since it was released in the early 80's in Japan. It's a non-painted transformable "junior" TF.

That thing looks ready to crumble into dust if you look at it the wrong way.
Arent these figures the base for some of the Kabaya kits?

Adding it to my watch list, even I can't spend any money!

Forgive me but where does it say Jr on the box? All I see is 'transformer Block'.

Actually it says "Transform Block". You're correct, though, this is not a JR. JRs say "Jr" on the box. This is something completely different released in similar packaging and at a similar price point.

There's also a Diaclone version of this and a Diaclone version of a Skids (fairly easy to find) in the same style that was never released as a Transformer.

While we're on the subject, the technical name for a "Jr" is (similar to the above) a "Transform Jr", which I think not many US collectors know.

So its a re-colour of a diaclone toy?

Thanks for the info there Might.... I thought I knew my TF Jr's enough to know there isn't a Sunstreaker.

Yep. Same with the Raiden Jr toys--those are recolors of Diaclone toys as well. (Assuming they're different colors--I don't remember, honestly.)

I have this one. It sucks. It's like a giant eraser. It doesn't really Transform either, you just pull it apart and reassemble it as a car. One interesting thing is though, I saw a Diaclone version for sale once.

Yah, I picked up one of these for like $50 a year or so ago. I am a Suntreaker fanantic, so I like it but it basically is a giant eraser reassembler. Cool novelty but unless you like the character or collect reassembers (there are Voltron ones as well), its an easy pass.
