Yesterday's toys, today's treasures - collectibles & memorabilia - MSN Money
LMAO, schmucks MSN be.
Oh, good job MSN.
Actually laughed out loud a little at that. Thanks.
Pffft. Fail indeedy.
Already posted, and I've already beaten you all to the (cy)kill.
I think what bothers me more is that this article seems to put forward collectibles as a viable financial investment, which will at best increase speculation and at worst lose a lot of people a lot of money.
Well, I think my 401K and my TF collection will disagree with you. Since I started collecting my 401K dropped 20% and my collection increased 50+%.
Not that I do really think of this as investments, but today, almost no investment is a good investment. Shit, I make more money gambling then I do on mutual funds, or stocks.
I have to find something better to invest it.
I totally saw this this morning when I woke up. I was facepalming for like five minutes. seriously? did they even bother with research? No pic of fortress maximus or... a TRANSFORMER maybe? Oof.
OMGwow. That is just...no.
Also, I love your sig.
Not to mention that they talk about them being worth thousands in their original boxes, then show a picture of a toy that's unboxed and in terrible shape. That Cykill looks like something you'd find in a pile of old crap at a yard sale, not being sold as a collectible.
lol. Oh wow.
Yeah, aside from Cy-kill's not being a Transformer, are there really vintage Transformers worth thousands?
I wonder how much that opened, beat-to-hell Cy-kill is worth.
Fuck Fort Max man, Cy-Kill's where it's at

"Some loose Transformers that have been played with can still earn you up to $100 each"
That is such epic amounts of fail for such a short article - wow. The "up to $100" part really made me laugh. Obviously they didn't take one solitary minute to check eBay
Someone needs to fire their researcher...
That's even worse than I imagined. I had figured they'd used a picture of a crappy Armada toy like Sideswipe, or something.
