Based on what?

 

I have not noticed any landing debre around the pool perhaps he landed somewhere else as then ran and hid in the pool till things were more calm as if he was being chased. If he ran and hid in the pool, which obviously was big enough for him to fit in, he would hide quietly. However, if we remember when we were children at times we here the oddest things. Maybe the girl heard him hide or moving so she went to check it out.

My thoughts for now.

A decepticon smashing a young girl like that would not be appropriate at all IMO not at all thats plain sick to even want that to happen at all.

In my Opinion it's a Transformer that hid himself in the Pool after landing somewhere else

Before getting there it went on patrol (it's night, obviously nobody heard him passing by in the Dark) the only person who saw him was the little girl, that's why she wasn't surpriced about what came out of the pool, children believe in fairytales....

Personally I think its screamer, Why?

Maybe Ironhide hits the ground and kinda bounces into the pool.

 

We don't even know what Movie Ironhide's head looks like! But we do know what Starscream's head looks like, and it's not that.

 

Maybe "it" was too hot after entry so it decided to cool off. Either that or Lady in the Water gone Bionicle.  

 

You're right, but what that means is they wouldn't even have put a little girl in a scene were a Decepticon would have the unchallenged opportunity to squash her.

He's also a crappy red van, but we know that's not the case in the movie either. You're gonna have to let go of some preconceptions.

 

The head looks more like Prime's head than anybody's...

 

I think it's Ratchet. Why? Because he's the only 'Bot that hasn't been suggested.

are you guys all not reading the posts, its Ironhide, its a fact, we KNOW this from the script.

 

I have not personally read the script. And, as often as we're bombarded with "ZOMG, teh script is not the same" reminders (approx. 137 times a day), and given the fact that it's a protoformeteorbot that could theoretically be anybody...I say that they changed the script to make it Ratchet...who as a medic would most certainly not go about stepping on the indigenous fleshlings.

Its Mr. Potato Head disquised as a Transformer on the movie set. He must have been really drunk and fell in the pool, the directors probably threw that seen in to give old Potato Head a quick scene in the movie.

 

anyone noticed that the lil girl's holding "My Little Pony"? probably a kickback to the 80's... XD

Powermaster Optimus Prime had red eyes. Avoiding squishing the girl suggests not Decepticon.
