KO of Hasbro Deluxe Leadfoot

 

I wonder what there criteria is for complete remolds? I mean, Jazz has a brand new design, Roadbuster and ROTF Megatron seem to be retooled, and Brawl, Starscream, Jetfire, and Leadfoot are nearly the same. I just can't get a good read on this company haha

Yes, but whyyy. It'd be far simpler to have the actual doors there, and they wouldn't be undersized like this. I'm angry at Hasbro for making such a stupid decision in the first place and I'm unhappy with Dream Factory for not fixing it when they did so much to fix Roadbuster.

 

I think their goal here is just to get some figures out quickly to prove their worth for the rest of their figures like Bonecrusher.

Not to mention Roadbuster needed to have work done to make him weaponized. It makes sense to put that effort into making him more accurate. Hasbros Leadfoot was already decent so it wouldn't be advantageous for them to modify that at all.

I do get what your saying though. If they're taking the time to modify Roadbuster why not do the same for Leadfoot and Topspin. This company certainly isn't very consistent and that does have me worried about their quality.

Not that much of a fan of the wreckers but I have always considered trying to get topspin and if they sell all of them together,It will be great and I might pick it up.

 

I've never been a fan of the official transformation of deluxe leadfoot, I prefer my method.

One thing that they should improve on the KO is the hands. I don't like how he can't weld the guns in his hands, they should swap in hands that can somehow hold the guns imo.

 

It really bothers me that the chest doors are fake. If they managed to fix that, there would be no arm kibble.

 

It's basically a straight KO from the original. Plus it's a deluxe, plenty of deluxe figures have fake parts, it's not an MP figure.

 

I agree! The fake doors are too small as well. If they had just used the real doors, there would be less extra kibble, and his chest doors would be the right size. And it really wouldn't be very difficult to get them in the right position.

 

And clearly you know this, because you yourself design transforming vehicles, I'm sure.

 

Well, I don't think it would be impossible to do, even if it means a brand new mold. But we got a KO and that's fine. His concerns are valid, though

 

I think getting them to weaponize and downsize the HA are a better bet than them doing an entirely new mold. It's pretty clear that their Roadbuster is just the deluxe remolded to have weapons.

I think having the current deluxe with the doors in the right places would be far harder to manage than any of you think, though.
