this is how I watched it
Anyone else think Ratchet sounds like Gilbert Gottfried?
Updated: Found out it was a bar
The way it's name reminds me of our McDonalds. I wonder if they also have a clown as it's mascot. Good thing Cybertronian kids don't exist in this TFU.
This little sleeper series is the Transformers show I always wanted and it seems like it’s not getting many views lol.
No humans and so many comic references from some of the best comic elements.
Hopefully that will change, I'd like to see this get at least three or four seasons. Without viewers, I doubt that will happen.
No kidding. Every episode impresses me more. And I love seeing this side of Cybertron in an animated series.
It's not "going to change" anytime soon. Cartoon Network's ratings are in a bottom right now. Cyberverse is only managing 400 000 viewers weekly in comparison to RID's average of 750 000 viewers, and kids on Youtube don't seem to care for it. It's performing worse than Prime did, except Prime aired on a minor channel, Cyberverse has no excuse.
Enjoy while it lasts. Season 2 was confirmed before it premiered, so you'll get atleast that.
its funny how maccadam is alchemist like we know, but with episode he seems like alchemist/vector/amalgamous/alpha trion all rolled into one.
That was quite good, I fell off track with this series but hey its already doing more for the Thirteen than RID did. Maccadam is too likeable of a character to leave him as a one off, and we all want to see his strange Amalgamous type of transformation.
The writers are clearly fans what with so many of the comic references and the not too subtle nod to Alchemist. The fact they would introduce an obscure character like Maccadam speaks volumes. I'll keep watching.
What did Maccadam Transform into in this episode?
We only see a silhouette. But it was effective in scaring bots.
Amazing level of world-building in just 10 minutes. I'm loving every moment of Cyberverse.
This is sad considering the high level of storytelling of Cyberverse. In my opinion, Cyberverse is miles better than RID.
Digging this series... mostly. I'm much less interested in Bee and Windblade's quest in the present than I am in all the history and world building of Bee's memories.
What pleases an adult geek is often not what will please a kid, and kids are the ones that watch these shows at the end of the day. Hasbro has no interest in positive adult fan reactions if kids aren't watching it and buying it. "HIGH LEVEL OF STORYTELLING" =/= "Fun for the little guys".
This episode was easily the best of the show so far. It was on a whole another level of Prime.
I have to agree on this one. RID feels very Ben10-ish and does appeal to the kids. Cyberverse on the other hand would bore the current generation of kids. I thought maybe the 10-minute format would help with that, but your statistics say otherwise.
Cyberverse seems to have found the perfect balance between kid and adult; but that's exactly why it won't work for kids.
There are so many references in this episode, I'm amazed how they even managed to fit it into a 10 minute time slot. Just goes to show how good storytelling and better story flow helps immensely with regards to that.
A backstory to Drift and he was barely there for 2 minutes. Amazing! However, I wonder if people who don't know about Drift understood the reference. To them it'll be like a generic character named Deadlock. Hope we get to explore his character soon.
I gotta say this was a really good episode, not a lot in terms of action but it was a great representation on how cybertron degraded into a baron wasteland from constant war.
Also Maccadams Prime, as we should call him for now, was a fun character and really nice representation of the Neutral factions of the war, especially in the worst of times.
(And Soundwave dancing on a main Transformers show in modern times was something I really needed to see)
Helping Bumblebee was hardly neutral. I hoped it would be a neutral character but doesn't seem like it.
Loving the world building in this show. I can only hope that seeing Deadlock means Drift down the line. The voices are growing on me as well. I just really hope we get classic Grimlock soonish.
