Back when the Cybertron TV show was on, I watched every episode... up until the channel got taken off my channel lineup.

The last episode I remember seeing was then Megatron got a Key and he got his Gatling guns and tore up some main Autobots. (Red Alert was one of them???)

Does anyone know the name of this episode so I don't have to watch every episode before that to get to where I left off?

tore up as in killed? I've never seen the other series, I've only seen G1 and animated. I tried watching BW but I just didn't care for it. What are these other ones and wht are they different.

 

There are three series between Beast Wars/Machines and Animated:

1) Armada / Micron Legend
2) Energon / Superlink
3) Cybertron / Galaxy Force

which all lasted about a single year each. In terms of what's different between them and G1/BW/Animated, they're set in their own universe, and each series has its own independent gimmicks (Minicons, Energon Weapons, Powerlynxing, Planet Keys, etc.) . Stylistically, they're done by an anime studio (Gonzo) and the latter two series feature cel-shaded CGI interwoven with cel animation. They're technically continuations of each other, as well.

Basically, they're just different shows.

 

well I watched the above mentioned episode but didn't see anyone get tore up

 

hey but I finally found what my son's toy goes to though! My son had this 3 huge three headed dragon toy that my husband got at a garage sale that transforms and had a decepticon symbol on it but I had no idea which series it went to. I didn't catch the characters name though. Decepticon, three headed dragon, yellow/orange/brown in color

 

In Cybertron, Megatron got his tire-gatling gun, and basically shot Hot Shot, Red Alert, and Scattorshot within an inch of their life. It was after this that they were upgraded (by either the Omega Lock of a Cyber Planet Key- can't quite remember which) into the Cybertron Defense Team.

EDIT: Just looked it up, it was Primus who upgraded them.

And yes, to answer the original question, you'll want to start watching again from episode 27, Critical. Some of the best moments of the series are coming your way in the next few episodes, enjoy!

These 3 are connected and as a whole are called the unicron trilogy. I have yet to see them and heard Cybertron was the worst as it was just a mish mash of story and rushed to airing.

Never heard that one. Just hear it as having a dragged out Speed Planet story causing much of the end to be bit rushed. Always hear Energon as being the worst because it runs out of story halfway through.

 

I heard it from a couple places. Regardless I'll watch it when the time comes. I like to make my own decisions. Personally I want to see unicron again (I am a geewunner for life but I'll be watching this and hope it takes the bitter taste of rid out of my mouth).

 

I prefer the English dub, it gave it some personiality and quirks to the charecters. Yeah there are something kinda weird in the dub but i prefer the Omega lock upgrading the Cybertron Defense Team than Burning Justice.
