Thor is an awful, awful toy. I am not exaggerating when I say it felt like I was playing with a knockoff. For all the talk about cheapness from Hasbro, Thor is a truly legitimate example. I just can't say enough how much that thing turned me off to the whole idea.
Well, I only have one crossover, the ATT Battle Droid, and his backpack wont stay connected to his lower waist at those two pegs AT ALL.
My two Darth Vaders (TIE Advanced and Death Star) are really great. I had the Falcon, but Chewy's leg snapped right off (seemed like something similar to gold plastic syndrome) so it got returned. Also got Boba Fett and he too just didn't stay together. He was also returned. Those are the only two Transformers I have ever had to return.
So is Darth Vader a good buy for you? I bought the Falcon and Chewy's knee crumbled on mine. Plus, even the white plastic seems cheap and knock-offish. It scared me off crossovers, but I really like the Vader.
Star wars TFs are a step-down in quality compared to the marvel stuff. Overall I like the Marvel ones a lot more, especially Wolverine and Captain America, which are on par with mainline TF's quality IMO. Also my Captain America arms aren't loose at all, I'd double check to make sure they are clicked in all the way/ tranformed correctly.
I've found the quality on my Hulk to be pretty damn good. Nothing's loose or feels cheap. Guess I got lucky. But I must stay, that Thor looks terrible. The Iron Man and Spidey molds both looked like ass to me, as well.
How is the quality(plastic durability, paint, joints, etc.) of the first Crossovers Iron Man? He is the only one I want and I keep forgetting to buy him when I'm at stores.
AB: Oh, heck yes. I can't believe they haven't thought of this yet. Doom is only the best Marvel supervillain ever, and we've got two of his regular enemies in the line!
I'm more surprised that we haven't seen a Crossovers Ultron or Sentinel/Master-Mold. I'd say make Ultron a triple changer for his gimmick, and make Master Mold out of 5 smaller Sentinels that can combine to make him.
The first Iron Man's quality is pretty good. Not as good as mainline Transformers but, good for it's line.
I recieved my Crossovers Brown Wolverine yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. It's my best crossover by far, and the only two problems I've found are a sticking right claw, and that the torso peg when in vehicle mode is insanely tight. Is their a way to stand him up straight without angling the thighs or thrusting out his chest?
