I'll echo the "do a Seekers box," sentiment. I need a new seeker for Tcracker, and it would be soooooooo much easier to dye Starscream than paint Skywarp

What I would like to see (but don't see happening) would be a two pack of Decepticon Drones.

Now, before you lynch me, hear this out.
Drone one would be a lighter blue original seeker mold, with red stripes (see where I'm going?) while drone two would be a conehead seeker in the same blue with brown wings.

That way, the botcon exclusives stay exclusive and expensive, while the rest of us have a couple figures that could be Thundercracker and Dirge!

But as I said, that will never happen.

    Repackaged Classics? Yawn.

Now if there were some new additions to the Classics line, that'd be a different story.

Unfortunetly we have to wait till next fall for new additons to Classics. Though the wait will be worth it in the end :thumb

Too bad all 4 of these are old figures. And that UM/OP combo is indeed a strange one.

But it is interesting too see more Classics items showing up.

If they packed Prime & Magnus and Jetfire & Grimlock together, I wouldn't be surprised to see all the retail Seekers (SS, SW & Ramjet) get a 3-pack treatment. That could leave easy room for a Megatron & Astrotrain set, and two more separate sets that include Bumblebee & Rodimus and Cliffjumper & Mirage.

It's all incredibley redundant, but I absolutely would buy doubles of all these figures if they each came in sets like that.

I wonder if these sets are planned for a 2008 release, perhaps to bring attention back to the line before the new sets of characters eventually come out.

A no brainer. I'd buy a Seeker set in a heartbeat.

I have all four but these sets are indeed tempting! It's nice of Hasbro to put two highly desired figures like Grimlock & Jetfire in the same package.

    Interesting.

Wonder if they're some kind of store exclusive.

Oh man, if they did a Skywarp-Starscream-Ramjet triple threat, I'd be all 'bout it. But that pricepoint would be leader class material, so boooO.O.

How? It would probably be around $30, and a Leader class figure costs $40.

Some peole that wanted a Skywarp, weren't able to get one. I know I was lucky to get ahold of one. That and a lot of people are looking for a Screamer to kitbash as T-cracker, I'm one of them.

Just because it would be neat to see two versions of the same mold, in different colors (one light and one dark), packaged together like that. It would have a nice symmetry. :)

It's the same reason I think the Prime/Magnus set works well.

But I can understand how some people might feel cheated getting two of the same mold..... or how some might prefer an "adversarial," battle-in-a-box type arrangement. I just always enjoy variations on a theme, so having two differently colored but identical molds together appeals to me.
