Alt mode is awesome! I like the bot mode, but it still looks like Mirage to me. Maybe a bit more modding of the chest area or something? Weathering doesn't work for me, but that's just my taste. Awesome job.

I agree that the alt-mode works great... but the weathering isn't so effective. I think it's perhaps a bit overdone, and it distracts from the forms and colours of the actual robot.

Also, maybe you could alter the head a little to resemble the TV Devcon. Classics Mirage is definitely the right figure choice for the character though.

    That's KILLER ! ! ! ...Alt mode is ...
The weathering might benefit from this treatment *right here*

Hope that helps as far as weathering goes anyway.
It's worked wonders for me - :lol  > Over Here !

Holy cow, I had forgotten about that caracter and remembred it in a
micro-second just by looking at it!! He looks great! I can agree that a bit more of a head mod would be nice but otherwise, he looks great! The alt mode is awesome. Mirage is definitly the best of choices for that project!
You just added one "thing to do" on my list!

In spite of the fact I personally prefer cleaner paint jobs, the alt mode it just fantastic! It kinda reminds me of a Spinner from Blade Runner.

    Very cool bash.

Didn't think it was gonna work until I saw the alt-mode. But that's awesome.

The weathered paint job is pretty...well, weathered. But it kinda works for the character, cruising the galaxy.

I sentiments reflect both of these already shared. I REALLY like your idea and I really like your treatment so far, but I think you would be wise to listen to the good feedback you've already gotten. You've done a super job on the alt mode thus far and I think the weathering is alright personally. I think altering the head, and just pushing the envelope a bit further will yield an awesome bash for you. :thumb

Thanks for the props man; I'm glad my work has inspired you so much! However, I essentially just did some research on the 'net on weathering and did my own thing. There are quite a few good articles on the 'net about the topic that a good search will produce :)  Tons of people before me (and after) have done weathering well (such as you 3T  ). I'm glad I was able to contribute :)

My 2 minute Google search yielded this: http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Devcon

Search engines are your friend :thumb
