    Amazon.com this week price cut Paramount Pictures Transformers Blu-ray disc SKU to under $20 in a new round of high-definition discounts.

    On Wed., the Transformers Blu-ray disc was price cut to $19.95, down from a $29.95 list price.

    The title ranks as the No. 4 best-selling Blu-ray disc title in Amazon's Blu-ray division.

    Amazon this month is holding a range of promotions on Blu-ray disc products to spur sales.

    Sony's BDP-S350 Blu-ray player this month was price cut this month to $290 from a $399.99 list price.

    This week began offering a $50 discount with the purchase of select Blu-ray players by Sony Corp. and three Warner Bros. Blu-ray disc titles.

    Amazon is concurrently promoting a Blu-ray disc sale that discounts up to 55 percent off the list price.
