Should you be interested in a g1 style sunstorm e hobby will be doing a reissue some time in 2009 as for the original see below.

I wish all of the StarScream duplicates got their own Voyager, or at least they're own activator that way I could line them in formation and have them assault Omega Supreme once he comes out.

 

Whatever, I want my full sized Thundercracker. They should have made Sunstorm the activator.

 

He looks more plain-ish compared to SS and SW... guess i'll have to add the extra paint details myself.

meh, i know i spoke about that in my post. my point was, was there was no sunstorm in the g1 toy line, for him to be complaining about, thus he has nothing to complain about  

 

Dude, that e-hobby figure is a g1 figure.
Anyway, i don't think i'll buy this, Starscream is one of the worst TFA molds, i wish all the clones would get activators toys though.

 

Still waiting for a Universe version of this guy Hasbro, let's get a move on hmmmmm?

I beg to disagree with you there. The E-hobby reissue is NOT a G1 toy. It's a RE-ISSUE of the re-issue of G1 starscream. It did not exist in 1984,85,86 etc, therefore it is NOT a G1 toy. Repaints of Reissued G1 toys are not automatically included in the VINTAGE G1 collection.

That is your opinion and your personal classification. To most collectors, a G1 designation is not limited to VINTAGE toys. The G1 moniker includes all toys made from the original molds. That would include Sunstorm which is why Takara-Tomy refers to the e-Hobby figures and the other re-issues as being a part of their G1 collection.

 

That colorscheme looks like crap to be honest.

I was not aware that Hasbro had given the official name for that clone yet. Where did you read this new information?

 

He’s right, just because they used a G1 mold, does not make him an original G1 character. If that’s the case, all those Kiss play cassettes and all those E Hobby repaints would be G1 characters also. They are not.

 

Just a guess considering that if Skywarp colored clone is called Skywarp, Thundercracker colored one is called Thundercracker and Sunstorm colored clone is called Sunstorm, Ramjet colored clone can only be Ramjet.

 

And its an educated guess but Hasbro could easily call that clone something else when they put the figure out for sell so until we get the official word...
