Another update. A non-Transformers related errand put us near the Stop & Shop in Natick, MA this evening, so of course we had to give it a look. Turned up one of the Grimlocks. So now we've found one of each today, these are definitely floating out there. Good luck everyone. Now, if we could just find Patrol Bumblebee!

 

No pic, but I found a Lone Fireblast Grimlock while hunting today at a Fry's Marketplace in Arizona  

They can't be far behind now in other parts of the country.

Awesome! I hope I can find Soundwave. Also, I hope this means the new TFA Voyagers and Deluxes are close behind.

 

well i really liked animated but these are passesthe last figure i really want is blackout x2 for blackout and one to be grindor

 

Cool, so does this mean that they will continue the Animated line in retail? That's good because I currently only buy retail.

Where's mah Wingblade Optimus!?

 

I saw a TFA Grimlock at my local grocery store Friday evening...
And I saw a TFA Shockwave at my local Target just this last week sometime.

A few months ago my husband picked up a TFA Bulkhead for my son at said grocery store. They've been stocking them at grocery stores for a while. Any place is game...

 

Yeah! I'm still waiting to pull the trigger and buy a Voyager Optimus at my local ToysRus.

If we don't get Wingblade then I wont even bother with buying the voyager Prime.

 

Why not? He's awesome in his own right... 

 

Because I'm not that big into the Animated toys but I LOVE the show.

And I love the look of Wingblade Optimus. So if he comes out, I will buy him and the voyager Prime to place the Wingblade's armor onto.

 

I want that Grimlock

 

Stop & Shop? Really? Lol, I have one right where I live, and it is one of the last places I would have started to look for new Animated figures, (though then again, they did carry the first Transformers movie line for a while). Guess I'll be making a trip down there tomorrow.

 

I picked Fireblast Grimlock up today. He's all over the Giant supermarkets here in Maryland. The $10 price point and yellow hands were the only strikes. Otherwise he's a smoking repaint. Now to custom a fireblast sword for him!! No sighting of Activator Soundwave yet. I only ever saw Activator Cliffjumper in one spot- a Walmart- so I hope Soundwave isn't as tough of a hunt.

 

Grabbed the lone Soundwave at the Pawtucket Stop & Shop this morning. No Grimlock in sight.

 

Not sure if any West Coast sightings have happened in this thread yet, but I did find them at a Fred Meyer in Beaverton Oregon today. That's a Kroger brand store for those of you that have never been to the Pacific NW.

Keep a watch out for these, because it looks like they will be more generally released in coming days.

 

I don't collect the Activators subline, but it is good to hear that more Animated stuff is starting to come out at the major chains.
