"As a team, we can accomplish anything"

"Despite having washed out of the AUTOBOT academy, Optimus Prime is a natural leader. Trained to lead the bravest of the brave into battle against overwhelming odds, he eagerly looked forward to his first assignment. It's just too bad the DECEPTICONS were defeated ages ago, and the only crews left to lead are the maintenance squads that keep the Space Bridge network running. Since his assignment, he's lost track of his ambition. The last thing he expects is the chance to test his leadership abilities in a battle to defend his home and fight for freedom."

    Galactic Powers & Abilities

    - Can cut reinforced steel.
    - Advanced fire-fighting systems.
    - Trained at Autobot academy.

Damn, these animated figures look nice. I hope they will circle around massivly within a month or two. So we all can have the figures way before they'll hit the store.

My dislike of the Animated toys says "No." But, my Pime collection says "Yes."

Looks good enough (better than I thought it would), but only one version of a character anymore for me per series thanks... so I guess I'll be going with the Voyager version. Still, it'd be a pick up if I weren't trying to scale back (blasted movie toys cut into that plan a little...).

However... $200. This guy's prices get stupider all the while.

Its not too bad, vehicle mode is kinda lacking. And I hope no one pays $200.00 for it, in a few months they'll have buyers remorse for sure

He strikes me as more of an Optimus Primal than an Optimus Prime. Granted, we don't know much about Primal in his pre-Axalon days, so we don't know if he washed out of the academy, but his mission was very similar to Animated Optimus' - one an explorer, the other the leader of a group of repair-bots, both thrust into a fight for their home, freedom, and the very fate of the universe. They're both unlikely heroes. I like it.

I like the actual toy as well. Very cool design, I love how the bulked up arms manage to conceal so well in truck mode.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.. Prime has some sexy, SEXY lips.
Overall looks pretty sweet. Can't wait to pick him up. Just curious.. Is there a major difference between the earth and cybertronian mode? Or is it something subtle such as the shape of the windshields or something..

Yeah! The sooner this line gets here the sooner it can end. Then we can start getting *REAL* Transformer toys again.

The One True Fan approves of placing large colorful character mugshots on the sides of the bubbles.

Because then rifling through the pegs is less WORK.

Looks okay, but I'd rather wait for the Earth Mode Prime.

I'm a fan. Though I'll likely pick up the Voyager class instead, I like the bios and tech specs. It's nice to see mottos return to TF packaging (first time since RiD), and the "Galactic Powers and Abilities" gives some neat info, sort of like the Titaniums packaging. Color me impressed. This series can't get here soon enough.
