So unlike those who can afford to jet round the world, attend robot franchise based conventions and buy rather expensive exclusive boxes of toys from my favorite version of popular toy media, I knew they only way I'd own any of them would be to customise one myself. Its a little dark here but you can still make him out...and if I had a second Laserbeak I'd have made this into Garboil for the full Lemmy experience I do think I need to rework the head and refine the details some more. I may make it slightly larger too...this one should be the same size as the Botcon head as its as big as it can be and still fit in the body for transformation. I'm not fussed about being able to transform him so I can go with a slightly bigger head. And for those who think the Prime mould doesn't look different enough I think its all a matter of perspective and WUHBAM! Prime vs Master action shot! Oh and heres a peek at the first in my TF:Animated Hall of Heroes/Faces of Evil project WIP I thought it only fitting he should be the first - just over 5 1/2"
I went to last years botcon and wasn't liking the set but this year I'm not going and I like the set. You did a good job I really like how it looks almost 100% like the original good job

You're kitbash has made me do a complete 180 on this figure. I was totally opposed to MM on Prime's body and was Wreck-gar all-the-way! The digibash couldnt do if for me, but this thing looks spectacular. The one on one against prime is insane, the head on that body just gives him the look of a bruiser and makes him seem a lot taller and beefier than optimus! Bravo sir!!! *Also, I mentioned this in the news/rumours section but Derrick Wyatt (on formspring) said that MM would probably sound like Macho Man Randy Savage, which is in all ways amazing*
Once my new silicon arrives I'll be casting one to send to him...if I can get an address to send it to. hopefully he has a po box or something yup from scratch, but I now i've seen it painted I think it still needs some work, going to go back to the wax and fix some things Yeah I liked the look of the windows in the artwork rather than the purple windows. It does look like Honeydue but then thats direct from Dereks art of himself. Yeah I totall agree the head could use more work...simple matter of going back to the sculpt and refining. Because I don't have any of the Hasbro wax (or Azbro wax as its shipping to the UK is extortionate) I'm finding it tricky to get the level of detail in the wax I have, but I'll do what I can to do the best finish I can...it is very small in that face
Holy moly man. Ok I recant all past opposition to prime as MM. I posted this in the botcon thread as well so people can see teh awsum! You should pose him with Ratbat, the colors of ratty match MM fairly well.
If I had a ratbat I'd have shown him too, but I'm sadly laking Ratbat in my collection...I couldn't justify the cost of just a plain repaint of soundwave just to get ratbat...maybe if I saw one for cheap on ebay...it was never released in the UK. I didn't think Lemmy was much of a Keytar kind guy...if I can get another Laserbeak cheap I'd make a Garboil...maybe if I can make a mould...hmmm
