Found this thread over at The Allspark:

There's pics in the original thread- mods can mirror if they feel it's alright.

As well, apparently Animated Prime's in the Netjet game as an unlockable as well, if you scroll down.

That's pretty cool. Looking forward to his toy counterpart. Sure to be nice and complex. Animated is going to rock the house!

An Osprey-ish thing, damn, I did not see anything like that being even a remote possibility from how his bot mode looked

Colour me impressed if this is true.

Not what I was expecting but looks badass! Anxious to see other angles and see where his BFG goes in copter mode.

I think it splits in half and goes under the wings, the red banded pod like things.

its an official Hasbro game and the other characters in the pics of that allspark topic resemble their actual forms (Animated Optimus Prime doesn't look exactly like what we've already seen but he's very very close).

Nice one NightViper! I think this is pretty genuine, since Hasbro's been involved with the character design (such as the use of the Masterpiece Starscream)

The original thread has now been updated with Megatron's robot mode.

It looks like the wings fold up onto the back - that's my initial guess anyhow - I'll have to study it more in depth.

Still, I can't believe that this is the most G1 robot mode we've had since G1.

Cool alt mode....but I'm not a fan of that as Megatron. Still dig the robot mode though.

Well, the stylized Animated designs seem to have been made more realistic in the NetJet game, and I don't know whether or not they use mass shifting when the character models transform, so his NetJet alt. mode and cartoon alt. mode could end up looking pretty different.

Hmmm. Well, given the rest of the Animated toyline, I'd assume that Megatron's transformation will be fairly showaccurate.

I like the animated designs, but I think they look cooler more realistic like that.

The news report is incorrect. Animated Prime is based on his EARTH MODE. Not his Cybertronian mode.

Megatron as a helicopter? That's unexpected. What will he be next? A truck?! Then Prime can be he one that turns into a gun or canon of some kind!

    Wow that would be cool.
It's different enough from Megatron's norm to be interesting, but a bit reminiscent for his new movie and Cybertron (Galaxy Force) forms... minus the jet engines. I like.

Interesting idea! I can buy Megs as an osprey-type vehicle... their helicopter blades make them ominous, but they also look fast and manueverable (I have no idea if they actually are... they just LOOK that way).

Megatron has had so many alt modes at this point that I think there is a lot of leeway with the character... not like Prime, who is pretty much destined to be a truck for all time. And an airborn alt mode suits him well, as a Decepticon.

    Bring on the toy! :)

I've said it before, I don't care about the alt mode as much as I care about the robot mode and and the color accuracy. From what we have seen megatron's robot mode will look like the old G1 version, and he will have the Giant arm cannon so it works for me. As long as both modes look good and one isn't sacrificed for the other.
