I can't believe I haven't checked out your Skyfire earlier 'cos that looks freakin' sweet!   (sorry he'll always be Skyfire to me) I know white paint can be a b#tch but your paintjob & mods turned out great. Sweet-ass job Mate!

thanks! yeah that helmet/mask idea thing struck me as i was looking at the g1/classics jetfire reference pics. good thing jetstorm wears a visor. it got me excited that his head was just the perfect match for the helmet/mask.

 

I loved the Jet Twins as they were in Animated, and their toy was kickass... besides the alternate modes.

But this is still fantastic. I really want this Jetfire as a separate character in Animated... Skyfire. And I even want him as a part of the main cast!

I also love - if I'm seeing it right - the fact that this Jetfire has a battle mask, which is Jetstorm's face. LOVE it.

I call for a tutorial on this baby! That is fantastic. I really like how the arms in jet mode look like the og Jetfire's backpack. That was the cake being eaten.

I remember reading that if DJW did a G1 Jetfire, he'd name him Skyfire, and this custom is totally how I'd imagine he'd look.

 

Very creative take. He fits perfectly in the Animated universe.

 

Wow thanks for all your comments guys. After reading them, i'm now thinking of calling him skyfire from now on. So, now my Animated Team of Autobots on my shelf get their new member...Skyfire! =)

And yes i'm hoping sometime i could do a tutorial for this, for those who are interested, on how i built him...hopefully i find free time!
