Judging from those 2 pages alone, I think I may actually enjoy the new series, but I won't have my hopes too high.:)

lookin soooooooo good. But such a spoiler. xD

Well now we know what happens after megs attacks the ship and gets on board.
Well, not the full details, but between this and seen footage already, you can make some easy logic leaps.

"These stories are a brand-new telling of the Transformers saga," says Chris Ryall, IDW publisher and editor-in-chief. "The setting is on a future Earth, with a range of new characters, and some familiar faces as well, all updated for the 21st century and appealing to all ages."

Playskool kiddy toon my bum. Here's further proof by 'different' audience, they meant all ages and everyone. Not just 'kids'. Direct quote too. Just as hasbro had said.

I *HATE* the "cine-manga" approach of taking screencaps and printing them as comic book panels, but I must admit, this is the *least* hideous use of the method I've seen thus far.

Funny Bumblebee. Starscream, I can tell he's going to be your typical bad-guy you love to hate. He just looks like an ass.:)

Nice Prime refering to the stasis pods. What about you Prime? My guess is he's going to try and save the ship.

I'm also not a fan of screenshot comics, but for animated that's done in a comic book style, it works pretty nice.

just as long as they don't follow the animated movie adaptation and force unnecessary and uncomfortable dialogue in where it doesn't fit. i don't need to be reminded of a character's name every single page, Budiansky!

Cool. I personally don't have a problem with the method that they are using for it, but then again I probably won't be getting them anyways, so it doesn't really matter to me in the end. It's cool to se a good shot of the front end of the Ark. Here's hoping for Hasbro to make a little toy version of it (3" Titanium-like maybe? if they were to continue that part of the Titanium line that is).

But that's the brilliance of it all. No EJ Su's lifeless backgrounds and horribly drawn bots/humans and no Furman's use of rediculously unnecessary verbage and convoluted story lines. This is a marriage of simplicity and accuarcy, IMO, of course. And I can't wait for it.

It also will prevent the problems that went on with dreamwave where the comics were far behind the show and a separate continuity.
