    Long enough title? :redface2:

Whilst perusing the early TF listings on walmart.com, I've just stumbled upon a couple Animated bios.

    Bumper Battler Lockdown:
    Activators Cliffjumper:
    (Bios added to Resources listings.)

Also, TFU Inferno's listing has this to say:
With the "Autoboto" in there, I'd say it could be a typo, but then G2 makes sense given the water cannon.

Really? Yet the Legends Tank Megatron is Classics Series? Okay, then it's official (to me, at least). All Classics, G1, G2, War Within, whatever series that "connect" to G1 are all still part of Classics.

Interesting, I wonder what other new molds if any we'll get to celebrate G2.

G2, phuq yeah. Perfect explanation for the no ladder part. Now for them to explain why the eventual Grapple has deck guns...
Fire Engine beats Ladder this time, woo! Go 90's!

Interesting ... but I'd be disappointed if the only G2 nod we get as part of the 25th Anniversary line is Inferno who basically looked the same.

(Yes, I want a black Sideswipe. :rock )

P.S.: recently (this year) I found some carded old G2 toys in a store here. Inferno was one of those. :D

Nice. A G2 homage... we need more of those. Some of those early designs were cool (Rapido and some of his crew), but were just as lacking in the articulation department as the returning original figures. And, while you're at it Hasbro... I wouldn't mind some Deluxe Cyberjets. :D

Eh, I didn't know there was a debate. Wasn't it stated at Botcon that with wave 4 (2009 Wave 1) that the focus of Universe would be switching from Classics to a celebration of all series? I would assume this is why they've started breaking it down now via the different eras not because they're trying to confuse fans (though why some say Generation 1 and others just G1... well, who knows?).

Man, I'd love more G2 stuff in Universe. A new-mold Deluxe Rapido, Jetstorm (Aquaspeeder), Ransack (Rotor Force), or Rage (Stormtrooper) with engineering like TFU Sunstreaker or Prowl would be GOLD. And I'd absolutely flip for a new-mold Voyager of Clench or Pyro. Heck, give me the OLD mold Pyro at the Voyager price point so I could finally own one that's not crippled with GPS. I'd happily pay $10 each again for new decos on the Laser Rod molds, too.

I had to buy a KO Pyro as an organs donor for my original G2 Pyro. :(

    Also QFT!

Yeah, there was a lot of awesome ideas in G2 it would be a shame if we didn't see more characters (especially some of the G2 only characters) get new toys during the 25th part of Universe. A voyager class Clench and Pyro would be excellent and hopefully come along at some point.

As for the Laser Rods... all of them except the Prime mold have a habit of their secondary gimmick (pull back slash controlled by a rubber band) causing breakage to the figure. So, really, while they have great articulation, they need an all new mold so that we're not finding them developing crotch rot in a couple of years. And, I still say that Laser Rod Optimus Prime released in a G1 deco would sell to the fans like hot cakes...

Interesting. He'll be pretty much the first G2 homage in my collection (that I know about anyways). Not a bad thing, just a nice little detail about him. I like Cliffjumper's bio. Definitely something I plan to get when it comes out, as it'll go nicely with the Activators BB that I have, and help equal out the ratio of Bumblebees to Cliffjumpers (currently 5:2).

Huh, Cliffjumper actually looks pretty cool, I'd still never buy it but it looks cool.
