    Hey guys,

It seems like a really long time since I posted anything to the site. Since the last article, the number of hits at TF-1 has surpassed 10,000 and even though they're not unique visitor hits it was still something I was very happy about. Thanks to absolutely everyone who's had a look and given positive, negative or constructive feedback.

The latest article is about a very special item, the newly discovered Joustra Diaclone fairlady police/Prowl. once again it's the packaging that takes the cake

I have to really really thank Jeff (Might Gaine/Black Gaine) for taking this beautiful piece from his collection and sending it across the Atlantic to the UK for me to review. Also thanks to George "Backfire/Weeter" Hubert and Anglo for taking the time to contribute photos of the Japanese and GiG Diaclone Prowls, to Lulu berlu for the catalog scan and to Paul Hitchens who spends so long doing screen caps and scans of any interesting peripheral material for my articles. These guys all gave their time and resources just for the benefit of my review, with Jeff actually risking loss and damage to an immensely rare toy just so that I could photograph it in person. The generosity and support that these people in the fandom show is really something. I hope to see many of you at BotCon again this year.

    All the best

    Always an interesting read.

Ever think about doing a book? I'd love a book about Diaclone/Microman/etc. and all of the variations therein.

Great article as always Maz! I read this one with even greater interest than usual though, since Prowl was my first and favorite Autobot car...awesome to read the backstory!

Awesome work, Maz! You should really consider putting your articles and pictures together for a 'History of TF's and Pre-TF' style book. It would be most impressive.

I would have to agree. Having those pieces together for the groupshot...absolutely amazing.

Jeff is going to have to send me back this Prowl every time I find a new Joustra.

    All the best

That's another really lovely thing about the Joustra pre-TFs. The main appeal of these or even the main feature does not revolve around colour or moulding variations like the GiG or Japanese preTFs. As a result of collecting these I now have examples of some original 1984 Transformers in better condition than I ever did before. They are a wonderful link between preTFs and TFs.

    All the best
    Maz
