    Hi guys,

It's been 4 years but I've finally found the opportunity and enthusiasm to write for TF-1 again, so I decided to start with an item I've had for a while but has great personal significance, the Joustra Diaclone F15.

I've done some writing for Sony, Playstation and GT Academy so hopefully I'm not too out of practice :)

I hope you enjoy the read:

Another fantastic article Maz. I've always loved reading your work and hopefully look forward to more. It's great to know that there's more to learn about the toys I love. Thanks for the great work you do.

Very nice article. No modern incarnation of the Seeker mold surpasses this mold when it comes to the jet mode. It just feels more like a model than a toy. The Classics Seeker mold may wonderfully represent the cartoon robot mode but it's jet mode pales in comparison to this.

The only problem I have with this mold is the unpainted face and I'm not overly fond of the eyes. I did like the Worlds Smallest version where they painted Starscream's face white and gave both he and Thrust red eyes. Those eyes really brought the mold to life for me.

Those are my two cents. Really enjoyed your article. Good of you to share the comic with us. The old box art makes me wish the Movie designs stuck closer to them.

Thank you for the kind words and welcome guys, and thank you for reading. I've had a Joustra F15 and Ratchet sitting here for ages with artwork from Paul Vromen all completed but never wrote the articles. Even though many of my then-contributors have moved on to other things, I've met a whole new bunch of guys who are generously providing contributions. I'm glad to see the fandom has not changed in that respect.

Do any of you think it would be worth setting up a dedicated Twitter account to inform followers of new articles on TF-1 and also content on the pages in my links section (yes it's finally got links in it!!) ?

    All the best
    Maz

I'll just repeat how valuable your site is and your in depth articles. Thanks to you and Fred's I'm obsessed with variants, but I did get a minty first run thundercracker with the sanded wing tips and no copyright, and a mirage with the no grey boarder box thanks to your articles. My pocketbook thanks you!

Awesome work, good to see an update - I remember reading through all the articles at TF-1 when I first joined tfw, I've missed seeing new ones.

Ah it has been a long time since your update. And to think, I remember when you first made that site! Keep up the good work.

Oh good thing you didn't have a Kingdam Starscream picture in there lol.

I'd definitely follow such a twitter account! YOU are the kind of collector I enjoy interacting with in this fandom, thoughtful, intelligent, and in it for a real passion. Not enough guys like you around!

For anyone who's interested, I just set up a twitter page for TF-1 where I'll update on my new articles as well as link to other interesting articles or TF-related stuff I come across:

    Cheers guys :)

I'm thinking I might link to some exclusive articles for Twitter only that aren't linked from the main TF-1 menu pages, to sort of drum up some interest there. So keep an eye out for something extra special there soon in the next couple days. Article's written already, but I may share it there even before I have picture permission as a teaser and a thank you for the followers so far :)

    All the best
