    Hey guys,

I've just uploaded an article on the E-Hobby exclusive silver-plated chrome Streak reissue including a few decent pics of the Diaclone campaign cars as well.

    http://www.tf-1.com/articles/reissue_frame.php?art=Chromestreak

I bought this because I was curious as to how good it looked and I also felt it was a rather under-documented reissue exclusive.

Many thanks to Himawari for the superb extras.

Hope you like it, all the best
    Maz

    Very interesting read.

I guess my only complaint with that toy is the fact that its all chrome, which is a big reason I've never been much of a fan of these "chromed" TF's. He looks very impressive in car mode though and those are some great shots, but I donno, his robot mode all chromed up looks a tad off. I think its more the head too, I think the toy would look much better with some different paint apps for the robot mode here and there just to not make it looks so awkward. Also like you mentioned as well I think putting some clear windows in the back would have made it looks a bit better as well.

But I agree with your review for the most part. I also have to agree as well that out of all the "gold" and "chrome" releases Takara has done this guy it probably there most impressive.

Anyway awesome stuff there Maz :thumb

Great article like usual for you! There is a toy store over here in Little Tokyo, Downtown L.A. with about 20 of those for sale.

Maz, I love your articles. :thumb  Y'know the Diaclone comic that you translated in your Ligier article? Well, I saved your scans then edited them so now the comic's in English. :D  Now I'm just trying to get my printer to work..

Chrome Bluestreak was always one of those ones I kind of wanted but was never willing to pay much for. I might buy one to put next to the blue one though, damn that would look smooth.

    Ahhh that's excellent!

I recently purchased a Joustra pre-Starscream F15 as well and hoped to review it the same way as the Ligier, but unfortunately the seller neglected to tell me the toy was incomplete, box faded...and no comic :(

    All the best

It varies really. The F15 was on auction and I lost it, he had another 2. The winner of the auction got one and I got the other. It cost me 70 Euros (about $100).

    The Ligier cost me...considerably more!

    All the best
    Maz
