    WOW! nice review Maz

I remember sending out my TF points to get Overdrive, ugly ass Powerdasher, and Camshaft. I kept bugging my mom asking her if there was any mail for me, and she kept saying ask me again and I will throw those toys out when they come in the mail :lol

Awesome, Maz, looks like a lot of hard work went into that article, and the read was well worth it.
    Thanks for the heads up.

Much droolage, Maz. I had never seen the pre-Omnibot Diaclone packaging. It's very nice!

You've re-emphasized for me how much I still need to get hold of an Overdrive and Camshaft. (Got a minty MISBaggie Downshift a couple years ago.) Every time I see an Overdrive on eBay, though, his hood sticker is scuffed to all heck. I'm too picky, I guess....

I've always adored the Diaclone catalog art for it's cubic simplicity. The Future City type art with that Ferrari is wonderful.

wow, that article makes me glad I never got rid of my reinforcements. I took some pics of them over the winter, but the ones that you have make overdrive look spectacular. did you take them, or were they given to you?

Hi there, I took the Overdrive pictures myself. The Diaclone pictures were very very recent, but the pics I took of the loose US TF were from 2 years ago I believe.

The pictures of the Japanese mailaway are from Himawari of course.

Also thanks to everyone for the kind words, they are very much appreciated. I really didn't expect this article's content to be particularly popular!

    All the best
    Maz

so do you actually OWN most of the items you take pics of? if so, you've got a very interesting collection. I've read most of your articles, but forgive me for not going back as I write this to check where the toys were from.

Oh no worries man, I wouldn't wish that on anyone ;)

A lot of the earlier articles, before this year basically, are either other people's collections (usually credited at the bottom) or things I have since sold on. For example I no longer have the Police Sideswipe, Police Sunstreaker, red hoist, MC cassette giftset, red Bumblejumper or Yellow Sideswipe in the articles to name but a few. Yet some things I kept like the Black Tracks and most reissue exclusives, then I bought back another Diaclone Yellow Sideswipe because I realised I really shouldn't have sold mine in the first place. And I've just done the same with Clear Hot Rodimus.

I've also long since sold all the Mexican stuff I had, and most of the minibots were never mine in the first place. Quite a few collectors have been extremely kind and have sent/leant them to me for review.

Basically, I would be surprised if I currently owned even 50% of what I've written about on my site.

And in hindsight, I am regretful of half the stuff I sold because yes it would be a collection now that I'd be very proud of. But I'd be living and sleeping on top of TFs if that were the case!

    All the best
    Maz
