Idk if you have this or not but if you don't I think it would be an awesome addition to the site. If you get a new PM or anything you'd like updates on you'll get a text if you have that option checked along with what you want to be alerted about. And once you get it all you have to do is text back to reply or post back for the alert. Idk if this is the right area to post this but it's an idea that I think a lot of folks may like as well.
While we can see how that idea could be beneficial, we would rather not have to deal with any legalities or privacy laws that come in to effect with people inputting their phone numbers in to a database on our server for that information to be stored. We only ask for a valid E-mail address and that's it. For now, the best option you can do is this: - Set up your current smart phone to notify you when you get new E-mails with a push alert - Set up your account on the boards here to E-mail you when you get a new PM or Profile Message. If you have Twitter on your phone, you can also subscribe to the TFW2005 twitter feed, which you can set to be a push notification as well anytime TFW2005's twitter updates from our direct news feed. This does require a smart phone (iPhone or Droid) however. If you do not have a smart phone then unfortunately the best we can suggest is utilizing the board's E-mail notification system.
