According to BrickSeek, none of the Targets in North Houston have them. So far they have only been spotted at Targets from what I know.

Bought this at the Fry's Electronics in Garland! the shelf tag said $150, but it rang up for $108 (which is good cuz I was going to price match Amazon anyways). I used up the rest of my Christmas money to pay for half and paid the rest of it with my own money, so it cost me like $55 out of pocket!! hehehe :p

I just picked up Optimus and Rodimus at galleria target in Houston. I had to get them from the back. Not sure if there are any more. Brickseek is starting to show them popping up in Houston. Happy hunting.

Transformers - Target Inventory Checker - BrickSeek

Three Targets show limited stock in El Paso. I think this is probably one set of leaders. I say this because right after I bought mine from Galleria Target, I checked Brickseek and it showed out of stock (from limited stock).

If you do go, bring the DCPI code and ask them to check. Target has been REALLY good about this... unlike Wally World. Their scanners will show them the right inventory and if it's in the back. They'll usually get it for you.

Overall just terrible and not as much time put into it as Optimus it seems.
-for my taste, its a bit too bulky for Rodimus.
    - huge back kibble
-the shoulders are HORRIBLE! back and forth movement is ok. The up and down joint is rediculous tho making any action poses non doable as it stems from the center of the figure not actually at the shoulder.
    - hotrod looks rediculous and proportions are way off

Posatives are it has nice head sculps, wrist swivel which Optimus doesnt have, and ankle tilt side and front to back

It makes Fansproject Protector look like a Masterpiece.
My DX9 Carry and MP Hotrod will def be my Hotrod and Rodimus Primes on display haha

Rough. Well I figured the leaders will be shelf warmers for a while when they hit the stores really hard. That’s fine. I don’t want to pay $45 for $20 worth of engineering anyway. (Blaster/soundwave) I remember seeing pics at toy shows and thinking that it must be mistransformed because that back kibble is unforgivable. I wish Optimus’ truck didn’t turn into Orion Pax but a smaller version of Optimus. Every time they do a design that invocs the 1984 cartoon designs I cringe because they do not look good. They just don’t hold up and they sacrifice transformation for outdated esthetics... T30 Arcee..... if they made Orion Pax look similar to the T30 design I wouldn’t mind as much. Here’s hoping any decepticon leaders they do, thunderwing or deathsaurus, come out better.

Optimus is pretry good honestly. Orion looks good deapite the truck windows on his back. Even conbined the figure looks better inhand than pics. The legs being folded up on the back arent that bad and stick out as much as MP10s gun case section does. The main issue for me is the arm panels. But even so its really not too bad.

Im happy with my Optimus purchase, Roddy on the otherhand not at all lol
