Actually I'm getting the legion class Megatron. I've made a custom one 3 months ago, but after looking at this one, I love it can't wait til I receive it. But hot rod, I using the head and couple of parts from legion class, whenever it gets here, and I going to use it on the custom one I'm currently working on. It's been like 3 months I've been working on it.

The fact that it's that empty for a prime time early screening is a testament to how terrible these Transformers movies are.

Erm....actually it was a full house. I just pulled up that Imax theater for a middle-of-the-day, middle-of-the-week showing, so I could easily highlight/distinguish my seats.

And I actually really enjoyed it. Still WAY too much human interaction. But everything else was pretty fun. The action this time around is on another level, especially the Autobots vs Decepticons fights.

Your post had me worried that NO one was going to see this film, something I don't want to see since its become obvious that these films success means that the TF collector community keeps getting what we want in the Generations lines. Lots of films already bombing this summer and hoping transformers wont be one of them.

In regard to enjoying these films, I've finally learned have to kind of rationalize that these are like a 2 and half hour roller coaster ride rather than a film to be analytical and critical of. When you think about paying admission to see this film vs going to Six flags for a day and standing in a bunch of lines for 30 seconds to a minute of a quick rush, I find them much more enjoyable.

They are garbage. I don't even say that as a G1 diehard, but as someone who enjoys good cinema. They are terrible, terrible movies and can't be rationalized without letting a LOT go.

Movie was super fun. Great in Imax. Easily the best of the five. For multiple reasons, but here are two:
    -Cogman
    -the Decepticons
I'm very happy with it. Stay possitive my dudes.

I never said they were good films. As a film buff myself, I'm always disappointed...I just have learned that you have to take each film as seriously as it takes itself...and it's easy to say after 5 films that the Transformers Franchise doesn't take itself seriously at all. And at his point we all know that it is what it is.

Don't tell Michael Bay that. I think he'd disagree with you.

I'm glad you all enjoyed it but I just don't think I can rationalize spending money on a movie that is hovering around 14% on RT, it sends the wrong signal. That's like a "modern" Adam Sandler movie rating and I wouldn't be caught dead watching one of those LOL.

3 Premier Slash figs, 1 Topspin and 1 Perceptor at Target on 183 and Beltline in Irving as of yesterday afternoon.

My neck of the woods at 183 and beltline in Irving...

Saw the film last night with some friends who talked me into going last minute. I'll be blunt: its a terrible film. Worst of the franchise (in my opinion, and I know Fans here have strong opinions about the 'worst TF film'). I never found the 'okay this is kind-of fun/cool moment even though none of this makes sense' that I think all the other films seem to have at least a brief moment of. It felt like a tired franchise film, and the performances felt tired and phoned in.
