2 six shots at the TRU in las colinas

 

Hey Alamo City Fans! I just got back from the SouthSide where I found what I guess was a case-worth of TR Voyager Broadside at Walmart on SE Military Dr. His bot-mode & Carrier-mode are good, & the front-half of the jumbo-jet is barely passable, but I like him anyway. That Walmart also had old wave Deluxes (mainly regular ChromeDomes). The Target down the road from there on SW Military Drive had Leader SoundWaves & PMOP Primes, & a couple of Getaways. I kind of wish I had found a Leader Blaster, I think I like him better than SoundWave.

Sigh...till no sign of Kup, Perceptor or TopSpin, but I didn't come home empty-handed!

True, but I still think this set will be a shelf warmer.

 

Maybe. But right now it seems to be get grabbed quick. I called a TRU by my house during closing time and they had 3. I went there the next day and they were gone. Most likely a scalper. The guy I talked to in store told me they had plenty in the distribution center. It just a matter of which stores are going to get them. I hope it becomes a shelf warmer!

 

Leader-class Sixshot has been spotted, one at the Target at Park North and 2 at Crossroads aka Wonderland of the Americas, so he's in stores fellas..

Hes been in stores for like the last 2 weeks lol lil late to the party. Ppl are already finding broadside.
Like 8 at the walmart on evers and 5 at walmart military/Roosevelt today

The by Northpark mall off 75? Or is there a Richardson Toys R Us I am missing?

 

The one of 75 near north park mall. Here's the thing. They don't have them set out on the transformers shelf. They're in a box in electronics. Just tell the guy you're looking for the chaos on Velocitron set or the item number 758111.

 

Ah, okay! Thank you. I was just there but looking at the Transformers section.

Anyway, there are also two left at the Mesquite TRU on Town East Boulevard. ETA: they are in the Transformers section at this store.

The I-10/Bunker Hill TRU has 9 TR Chaos on Velocitron sets. They had 10, but I got one.  

 

So after messing with fastlane it looks like the mold is already set up for the cloudbreaker transformation

 

Make that 8 left.  

 

Cruised through Movie Trading Company in Dallas tonight and was struck by a sight that was worth noting...

Three different versions (this store had 5 copies total) of the original Transformers The Movie...All of which I believe I actually own.



20 years ago if I had come across a store that had one copy of this on VHS for sale (there was no DVD version yet), my jaw would have hit the floor, and I would have thrown money at the cashier as I ran out the door to run home to watch it without wearing it out. Which I basically did when I actually found one for sale in the summer of '96 in Gulf Shores, Alabama as an eighth grader and successfully begged the grocery store video rental shop to sell me their copy.

So for those of you who are like me and who are old enough know the struggle to find this on VHS, the struggle to find it on DVD, and then how many of us hoped we'd eventually get one on bluray...this is a very much a sight for sore eyes.

And to anyone who still doesn't own this movie...it's never been easier.

Fastlane is part of a duo of autobot clones (robots that look the same but have different alt modes) cloudbreaker is his clone that turns into a jet. The mold has been set up to be used for cloudbreaker with minimal retooling when they eventually release him. Smart on Hasbro's part.

 

Oh, you mean Cloudraker. I thought you were implying the two figures were going to combine Darkwind/Dreadwind style, and I thought I'd missed something.

 

I think thats what he meant. Hasbro set them up to combine once the other is released

No. I meant that they set up the transformation sequence for cloudRAKER(thanks for the correction) with the same mold when they release him. Saving money on retooling. I wonder if they did the same for pounce.
