    Hey Guys

I'm new here and new to the whole painting thing.
I did a test paint job on Leader Megatron's wing from the first movie. I want to do a ROTF Megatron paint job but wanted to see where I was at.

Any opinions and advice would be greatly appreciated. Please be brutaly honest.

    Thanks!

I like the drybrushing detail in the lower left corner best :thumbs2:

Personally, I would advise to really be careful with the amount of use of scratches - the deep scratch on top of the wing ; imo, such detail always seems a bit artificial to me.

Keep up the good work !

I'll keep that in mind. I did it mostly to just test out to see if I could pull it off, but I will tone it down a bit when doing ROTF Megatron

I tried the torso and the head. I didn't have any red so I couldn't do the eyes lol.
My camera sucks with lighting :(  I'm happy with it though....
I think I made the face too glossy and I know it looks really bumpy. That's cause I over did my Lacquer last week and that's what caused the bumpiness. I'm sure it would look a lot better if it was smoothed out.

I personally dig the damage effects you added to it. Looks authentic and weathered. Nice work.

It looks nice. I like the little scratches that you add. :)  I'm sure you're gonna do it anyway but yeah the tank treads should be black and maybe heavily weathered with mud so that it will blend in with the rest of the weathered paintjob.

I wasn't sure if they were black or silver, most of the reference pics i used looked silver, but i didn't know if it was damage or something lol

Very cool surface detail! Man, I really want to hate Leader Megs, but this is making me want one...
