I thought the Lite-Brite panic attack was the final straw. But NOOO... This takes teh cake!
Hey those things have springs that could likely take out an eye!! You can never be too careful.
There was no way to tell what was inside the package, and the package itself was suspicious.
I don't get what's funny ... where's the error that the author of this thread felt the need to bold?
No, this is definately more logical and less panic-stricken than a friggin Lite Brite.
I think it's ironic that the package was an award for making a mistake. Apart from that little bit of humor, this is much more reasonable than shutting down the better part of an entire city over things that don't even remotely resemble bombs. As long as the city doesn't decide to sue the guy for unintentionally creating a "hoax", it's just an unfortunate misunderstanding.
Stop making sense.
Fast response, quick dispersal. These guys did everything right that Boston did wrong. This takes no cake.
I agree, there have been worse causes for alarm that you havn't heard about.
You should see some of the boxes I use to ship stuff in. Who cares what the box looks like, it's the contents that count! I never understood why people would call into UPS to complain about a torn up box when the contents were in perfect condition...
Separate names with a comma.
